THOUSANDS OF SHARKS OFF FLORIDA COAST!!! (the annual blacktip migration)
We found the blacktip shark migration in South Florida and there were soooooooo many sharks. It was incredible! The Blacktip Shark migration is the largest coastal migration in the United States. These sharks are generally not aggressive towards bathers at the beach.

Mahi - mahi Tagging Expedition - Directors Cut
Created and produced by Dan DiNicola, the Mahi - mahi Tagging Expedition - Director's Cut highlights RECOVER scientists on a three day research cruise in June 2017 where they successfully caught, satellite tagged, and held mahi - mahi aboard the University of Miami's RV Walton Smith, for 24 hours before release. These tags captured information about spawning, feeding and migratory behaviors of wild mahi - mahi.
As of this past February, Dan has left our team to relocate to the west coast of the United States. We thank Dan for his three years of enthusiasm, upbeat attitude and hard work to create the outreach program that RECOVER has today.

ACCOMMODATIONS & LAYOUT:
When the Sea Falcon was completed in 1990, it was the largest aluminum yacht ever built and finished in the United States. She has had all the interior upgraded and redecorated in 2008 and hull awl gripped in 2008. All mechanical and electrical systems have been upgraded to operate in U.S. and European waters. All TV's and VCR's are multi-system and can operate anywhere in the world.
There are sleeping accommodations for 10 (5 suites) in owner's party, plus captain's cabin and eight in crew in 4 state rooms. The Master suite on the main deck has his and her bathrooms with a Jacuzzi. The lower deck has a V.I.P. stateroom plus 3 other double cabins all with bathrooms. The large lower salon on the main deck has a bar/TV area and dining table with seating for 8. The upper saloon has an adjustable height Corian table with seating for 8 plus a large round outdoor dining table with seating for 10.
The galley is located on the main deck. This spacious galley is well equipped with two large sinks for the chef and the third for stewardess duties all with waste disposals. The Garland commercial electric stove has 6 burners, 2 ovens, and a frying grill and has recently been fully reconditioned. There are 2 full height S/S fridges, 1 full height freezer, 2 half sized fridges, and 1 half freezer. There is also a large walk-in pantry. All bench tops are white Corian. There is a dishwasher and ice-maker. Within the galley there is a crew eating area for 10 with TV. The laundry room has 2 commercial washers and dryers with S/S laundry sink, folding table, and pullout ironing board.

Sea level rise is already redrawing coastlines around the world. What happens when the coast retreats through a major city? We look at how the world map will change in the year 2100, and what coastal cities can do to defend themselves.
Correction: An early version of this video suggested that researchers expect to see four feet of sea level rise by the end of the century. While researchers do expect to see at least that level of sea level rise in the future, the exact timing is difficult to project. We regret the error.
