Cheyenne WY Black Friday Sales 2012 - Deals at Frontier Mall and Cheyenne Plaza
- Thanksgiving and Christmas are two of the busiest shopping holidays of the year as many people are looking to make a major purchase. While some will be looking at stores like WalMart, Target, Best Buy and Home Depot others may be looking at shopping mall locations. Here are some of the more popular shopping centers in Cheyenne Wyoming:

Spirit Sears Halloween (Cheyenne, Wy) | *NEVER SEEN FOOTAGE* | Optopolis
Spirit Halloween is in the Sears of Cheyenne, Wyoming! This Spirit Halloween was here in 2018, and this is THE ONLY video in existence and online of this store! Spirit Halloween is now in our Big Kmart in 2019!
Sears was an original mall anchor of the Frontier Mall here in Cheyenne, one of the only three malls in the ENTIRE state of Wyoming, and the mall was here since 1981.
Sears closed up shop in January of 2018, one year after our Big Kmart closed its doors in January of 2017. Now, a JAX Mercantile & Co. is in the process of remodeling this store; Jax Outdoor Gear is a store much like Menards and found widely within Colorado. Fortunately, much like Ollie's Bargain Outlet, it has a tendency to leave some of what was, such as facades - You can see this at the former Big Kmart in Broomfield, Co. and the former ShopKo in Loveland, Co.
Currently, the signs aren't up yet, but as you will see in the video, the facades have been painted. Recently, I got a peek inside and it appears they are keeping the default layout from the Sears, but they are adding their own touch to the store, making it look absolutely amazing!

Atlas Motel [ABANDONED] (Cheyenne, Wyoming) | Optopolis
The Atlas Motel in Cheyenne, Wyoming, a once booming 1900s motel, now sits stagnant and decrepit, as it begs to be rebuilt.
The motel was built in the late 1920s as a thriving establishment. Unfortunately, like many other aging motels, it eventually became pest infested, significantly decreasing interest in long term stay. As a result, the Atlas Motel was perminantly abandoned in 2018. In October 2019, plans were released to rebuild the Atlas with a new motel, but much more modernistic and larger to accomodate the crowds.
Today, it still sits and decays, empty, unused, and boarded up. Sadly, this isn't the only motel/hotel in Cheyenne that sits abandoned today. Fortunately, something better will become of it.
