Hereford Bypass - proposed route and river crossing options
Film of the seven proposed routes for the Hereford Bypass and two proposed locations for the river crossing.
Limited Edition Locomotives, part 3
A third instalment that visits some of the models in display cabinets around Jenny Towers. This cabinet sits in the library. Whilst only a few items are actually special commissions, a lot of the locomotives and stock in here are some of Jenny's favourites.

Other locomotives include a mix of Hornby, Bachmann and Dapol steam outline locomotives including ex L&Y pugs, J94 Austerities, a GWR City class, an ex southern railway Q1 and the A4 'Dominion of New Zealand'.
DJI Phantom 2 Hereford UK
Testing out a new Neutral Density Filter by Polar Pro.
Ordered mine direct from the USA, took 4 days to arrive - brilliant!
The results are awesome, motion is much smoother than without the filter and is especially noticeable on the propellers.
That said, slightly concerned about the Gimble bearing the weight of the filter, there is one moment early on where the gimble loses control of one axis. More extreme manoeuvres seems to trigger this behaviour - so you've got to fly gently to ensure that the gimble remains upright.
This was captured in Protune mode, 1080 SUPER at 60FPS.

The city of Hereford was one of the furthest away locations reached by the regional bus service, on which I used to ride when I travelled all over the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean in my teenage years, so I decide to return having not been for many years. Furthermore, as another of my favourite English cities, I felt Hereford would make a wonderful place as a bookend to all my recent trips to the Wye Valley…..
Filmed in the city of Hereford in the county of Herefordshire. Locations include the Wye Bridge, High Town, St Peter’s Square, Castle Green, Hereford Cathedral and Victoria Bridge. This is the last of the series of films shot in 2018 celebrating 25 years of “The Solitary Rambler”.

STEAMIN' AROUND - 1987 - BULMER'S HEREFORD
Continuing our holiday in the Welsh Marches - a ride behind the small Peckett saddle tank Pectin. This loco has since moved to Yeovil.
As before it was filmed and edited in VHS with my higher-piched voice from 21 years ago. Our family holiday was thanks to our Sprite 'Alpine' caravan, parked in the Forest of Dene, a good centre for touring Wales and the Marches.
