Incheon Travel Guide - South Korea Amazing Experience
Incheon also Inchon, is a city in South Korea on the coast directly to the west of Seoul. Incheon is an historically and economically significant place for Koreans. During the Korean War, the city was the site of the Incheon Landing by American forces. Today, Incheon is a metropolitan city with the population of about 2.8 million, politically independent from Seoul. Also, the city serves as a transportation hub by air and sea, with a massive harbor and the world best international airport. Several beautiful islands, such as Yeongjong Island and Ganghwa Island, are also within city limits.
Incheon has since led the economic development of Korea by opening its port to the outside world, ushering in the modernization of Korea as a center of industrialization. In 2003, the city was designated as Korea's first free economic zone. Since then, large local companies and global enterprises have increasingly invested in the Incheon Free Economic Zone, including Samsung which chose Songdo International City as its new investment destination for its bio industry.
As an international city, Incheon has held numerous large scale international conferences, such as the Incheon Global Fair & Festival in 2009. The 17th Asian Games Incheon 2014 was also held in Incheon on 19 September 2014. Incheon has established itself as a major transportation hub in northeast Asia with the Incheon International Airport and Incheon Port. The city is also home to the Green Climate Fund, an international organization addressing environmental issues.
Local service to Guro, Seoul, Cheongnyangni, Uijeongbu and Soyosan is offered by Seoul's subway Line 1. The line has 11 stations within Incheon and connects to the Incheon Subway at Bupyeong and Juan stations. Incheon Bus Terminal, located at its eponymous subway stop, offers express bus transportation to all parts of Korea. Many city bus lines offer transportation within city limits as well as to the neighboring cities of Bucheon, Gimpo, Seoul, and Siheung.
Incheon is divided into 8 districts (gu) and 2 counties (gun).

Visiting a suburb Ilsan city│Seoul in Korea│4K 60fps POV
Ilsan City is a suburban city located about 30 minutes drive from Seoul. Because it is very close to Seoul, various facilities are well equipped. Today I visited the most lively street in Ilsan City, 'Lafesta'. See the people who are having a good time with family and friends on weekends. :)

This is a project that aims to renew the 'Where I Live', which has become a boring routine and has lost much inspiration.
It would be a VLOG to someone.
It would be a short story or essay to someone.
It would be a REAL Korean Travel Guide to someone.
Whatever,
I hope that the thoughts and perspective of one person living in Seoul will be fully conveyed.
Rediscovery of Korea's modern architecture
시대 초월한 근대 건축물의 멋과 아름다움
Korea's modern architecture reflects the course of the nation's history and its inheritance.
A number of century-old buildings are still cherished and now stand as valuable education sites.
Kim Mok-yeon has more.
Numerous buildings that were built during the period of Japanese colonial rule have been well-preserved in Korea.
The Dapdong Catholic Church located in the metropolitan city of Incheon stands as the first cathedral in the northwestern port city.
The external walls of the building, made with a mixture of red brick and granite, reflect the typical architecture during the middle ages.
The Dapdong Church, which was first built in 1937 is relatively well-preserved. Because of the building's beauty and solidness, we designated it as a historic site.
The First Bank of Japan, which was first established during the late 1880's, also represents Korea' living history.
The building's Renaissance-style dome in the center of the roof and stained dormer windows on the sides bear the footsteps of our past.
Now, the building is being used as a venue to hold various kinds of exhibitions.
This structure is a living proof of Korea and Incheon's modern history. It is now an educational venue that shows us how it was 130 years ago.
There are more than 20 such old buildings just along Korea's port city of Incheon.
City officials around the country are continuing efforts to preserve and make use of such architectures as a foundation of education.

Incheon International Airport (IIA) (IATA: ICN, ICAO: RKSI) (sometimes referred to as Seoul–Incheon International Airport) is the largest airport in South Korea, the primary airport serving the Seoul Capital Area, and one of the largest and busiest airports in the world. Since 2005, it has been rated the best airport worldwide by Airports Council International every year.[2] It is also rated as the world's cleanest airport and the world's best international transit airport by Skytrax.[3]
The airport has a golf course, spa,[4] private sleeping rooms, an ice skating rink, a casino, indoor gardens, video game center and a Museum of Korean Culture. Airport authorities claim that average departure and arrival takes 19 minutes and 12 minutes, respectively, as compared to worldwide average of 60 minutes and 45 minutes, respectively, ranking it among the fastest airports in the world for customs processing.[5] Its duty-free shopping mall has been rated the world's best for three years in a row in 2013 by Business Traveller.[6] Incheon International Airport also claims that it has only a 0.0001% baggage mishandling rate.[7]
The airport opened for business on March 29, 2001 to replace the older Gimpo International Airport, which now serves mostly domestic destinations and shuttle flights to several East Asian metropolitan areas including Tokyo, Osaka, Beijing, Shanghai, and Taipei.
Incheon International Airport is located west of Incheon's city center, on an artificially created piece of land between Yeongjong and Yongyu Islands. The two islands were originally separated by shallow sea. That area between the two islands was reclaimed for the construction project, effectively connecting the once separate Yeongjong and Yongyu islands. The reclaimed area as well as the two islands are all part of Jung-gu, an administrative district of Incheon.
The airport holds a record of being ranked the Best Airport Worldwide for 11 consecutive years by the Airports Council International (ACI)'s Airport Service Quality Award from 2005 to 2016, and has also been rated the world's best among airports of its size (25–40 million passengers) and region (Asia-Pacific) since 2012 due to the institution's decision to discontinue the Best Airport Worldwide category.[citation needed]
Incheon International Airport's terminal has 111 boarding gates altogether, with 44 in Terminal 1, 30 in Concourse A (connected to terminal 1), and 37 in Terminal 2.
The airport was constructed to share the demand for air transport in the 21st century and to serve as a hub airport in Northeast Asia

Jeonju - 16th largest city in South Korea | Cinematic Arial View | 전주, 대한민국 2019 【4K】
Drone Flight in Jeonju:
Jeonju is the 16th largest city in South Korea and the capital of North Jeolla Province. It is both urban and rural due to the closeness of Wanju County which almost entirely surrounds Jeonju (Wanju County has many residents who work in Jeonju). The name Jeonju literally means Perfect Region. It is an important tourist center famous for Korean food, historic buildings, sports activities, and innovative festivals.
In May 2012, Jeonju was chosen as a Creative Cities for Gastronomy as part of UNESCO's Creative Cities Network. This honour recognizes the city's traditional home cooking handed down over thousands of years, its active public and private food research, a system of nurturing talented chefs, and its hosting of distinctive food festivals.
HISTORY:
In the fertile Honam plain, famous for Jeonju Hanok Village and exceptional produce, Jeonju has been an important regional center in the province for centuries. The city was the capital of Hubaekje Kingdom, which was founded by Gyeon Hwon. Under Hubaekje, it was known as Wansanju. It was regarded as the spiritual capital of the Joseon Dynasty because the Yi royal family originated there. The town was occupied by the Donghak peasants' movement in 1894.[2] Jeonju was given metropolitan status in 1935, and the city was founded in 1949.
Since the Joseon Dynasty period, it was a metropolis, but it did not experience industrialization in the 20th century compared to other parts of Korea. It does not have the industrial infrastructure, manufacturing, or heavy industries found in other Korean major cities. Today, traditional touring and sight seeing is a major industry in the city.
CULTURE:
Jeonju bibimbap 전주비빔밥, a traditional local food, is well known across South Korea. There are several very popular vegetarian restaurants serving Jeonju style food and pine wine.[4]
The National Jeonju Museum exhibits ancient relics from the Baekje days.
There are extensive royal museums, temples, a castle fortress on a hillside, and a well-known paper museum, as well as an annual paper fashion show highlighting the latest styles and traditional Korean clothing made of paper.
The Jeonju Hanok Village (Hanok Maeul) is a traditional-style village in the heart of Jeonju, housing over 800 traditional hanok style buildings. It contains many traditional tea shops, souvenir shops, and restaurants.
Jeongdong Catholic Church was built 1908–1914 by French priest Xavier Baudonet on the site of the Korean Catholic martyrs in 1791 and 1801. This Byzantine and Romanesque church has been designated Korea National Treasure No. 288.
The Jeonju International Sori Festival was among Songlines' 25 Best International Festivals in 2014.
The Jeonju International Film Festival draws about 50,000 visitors annually.
The local mountains and parks are popular for outdoor recreation due to its rural location. There are historical sites in the area. The city has a zoo, a park, and the Hanguk Sound and Culture Hall, a large, modern concert complex on the Chonbuk National University campus.
TRANSPORTATIONS:
Many city buses and taxis are available in Jeonju. However, tourists are often advised to walk between points of interest, as many attractions are near each other.
ATTRACTIONS:
Jeonju International Film Festival usually runs from the end of April to May for one week annually.
SPORTS:
Jeonju hosts K League team Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC. The team's home ground is the Jeonju World Cup Stadium.

Hi guys, I'm Seoul Walker.
Today, let's walk through from Cheongdam intersection in southern Seoul to Sinsa Station in the afternoon. The sunlight shining through the dense forest of buildings warms my cold body in winter.

Starfield COEX Mall (formerly known as COEX Mall), containing COnvention centers, EXhibition halls and many malls, is an underground shopping mall in Gangnam-gu Seoul, South Korea. It has an area of about 154,000 square metres, of which 144,000 are on a single underground floor, making it the world's largest underground shopping mall.[1] The mall is located at Samseong-dong served by Samseong Station on Seoul Metro Line 2, at the intersection of Teheranno and Yeongdong Dae-ro. The COEX Mall is adjacent to the COEX Convention & Exhibition Center, which is part of the COEX complex, run by the Korea International Trade Association (KITA).
Along with hundreds of shops, the mall houses two food courts, MegaBox (cinema), COEX Aquarium and a large bookstore, but the Kimchi Fields Museum has moved to Insadong. It features a game area that is used to film computer game tournaments, which are broadcast on local television. There are stages inside and outside the mall for seasonal events and public appearances by celebrities. Millennium Square is the main exit of COEX Mall connecting with Line 2's Samseong Station. Metro Seoul gimpo airport express line Bongeunsa station in the north.

Incheon, South Korea - Takeoff from Incheon International Airport HD (2015)
Incheon International Airport (IIA) (IATA: ICN, ICAO: RKSI) (Korean: 인천국제공항, sometimes referred to as Seoul-Incheon International Airport) is the largest airport in South Korea, the primary airport serving the Seoul Capital Area, and one of the largest and busiest airports in the world. Since 2005, it has been rated the best airport worldwide by Airports Council International every year. It is also rated as the world's cleanest airport and the world's best international transit airport by Skytrax.
The airport has a golf course, spa, private sleeping rooms, ice skating rink, a casino, indoor gardens and a Museum of Korean Culture. Airport authorities claim that average departure and arrival takes 19 minutes and 12 minutes respectively, as compared to worldwide average of 60 minutes and 45 minutes respectively, ranking it among of the fastest airports in the world for customs processing.[4] Its duty-free shopping mall has been rated the world's best for three years in a row in 2013 by Business Traveller.[5] Incheon International Airport also claims that it has only a 0.0001% baggage mishandling rate.
Located 48 km (30 mi) west of Seoul, the capital and the largest city of South Korea, Incheon International Airport is the main hub for Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, Jeju Air, and Polar Air Cargo. The airport serves as a hub for international civilian air transportation and cargo traffic in East Asia. Incheon International Airport is also currently Asia's eighth busiest airport in terms of passengers, the world's fourth busiest airport by cargo traffic, and the world's eighth busiest airport in terms of international passengers in 2014. In that year, 40,785,953 international passengers used the airport.
The airport opened for business in early 2001 to replace the older Gimpo International Airport, which now serves mostly domestic destinations plus shuttle flights to alternate airports in China, Japan, and Taiwan.
It is connected to the mainland by Incheon International Airport Expressway (Expressway 130), a part of which is Yeongjong Bridge. The expressway also connects Gimpo International Airport to provide connections between domestic flight service with international air traffic, an advantage that makes it much easier to travel from southern Korean regions to Incheon, and then to airports all over the globe. Incheon Bridge serves as the second path to the southern part of Incheon city from October 2009. The airport is served by frequent bus service from all parts of South Korea as well as by traditional ferry service between Yeongjong pier and Incheon. Airport limousines operate around the clock from Seoul to Incheon, and several backup highway buses escort people from places within and outside Seoul.
The Incheon International Airport Railroad connects Incheon International Airport to Seoul Station in downtown Seoul. Non-Stop Express trains 43 minutes, and regular trains which stops at all stations takes 53 minutes to Seoul Station. KTX high-speed rail access is available within the same station.
The airport holds an unbreakable record of being ranked the Best Airport Worldwide for 7 consecutive years by the Airports Council International (ACI)'s Airport Service Quality award from 2005 to 2011, and was also rated the world's best among airports of its size (25-40m) and region (Asia-Pacific) in 2012 due to the institution's decision to discontinue the Best Airport Worldwide category.
Seoul Incheon International Airport's terminal has 76 boarding gates altogether, with 44 in the main terminal and 30 in Concourse A.
