Monkey Jungle - VOA Story
In the subtropical climate of southern Florida, a state in the southeast United States, many people each year visit a jungle that advertises itself as the place where humans are caged and monkeys run wild. It's called the Monkey Jungle, a primate park in the humid forests on the edge of one of the largest U.S. cities.

This Zookeeper From Miami Is The Real Life Tarzan
amazing watch Zookeeper From Miami Is The Real Life Tarzan.
There's a reason why Mike Holston, a zookeeper from Miami, Florida, calls himself The Real Tarzann, and King Of The Jungle. But Beastmaster would be way more appropriate given that he has a love for animals, and the animals appear to love him back.
He's not afraid to hold or to hang out with anything from poisonous snakes to toothy tigers.
Now, using his YouTube and Instagram, he educates people on how awesome animals are, and in the process, he shares with us how these animals guided him through life, just like Tarzan, which of course, he spells with two Ns at the end.

Hamadryas Baboons Families
In this hallowed ground where Mat Pines once explored and lived with the hamadryas baboons for five years ( I was privileged enough to come very close to troops of these baboons every evening for a week. They would sweep through my camp. Their interactions as a family are so interesting. Their behavior is fascinating. The babies interacting with mothers, the alphas doing their work to patrol and manage the troops and females.
You had to be careful where you looked. You might irritate them. A troop this large moving through our camp was more dangerous than a lion pride walking through. Thankfully, they were safe and felt secure and we were safe and felt secure.
It's one of the truly special experiences I've had in Ethiopia.

1941 FLORIDA TRIP HOME MOVIE MIAMI ST. AUGUSTINE TOURIST SIGHTS 89924
This silent home movie film was shot in 1941 by an American on vacation in Florida. Some of the sights seen include a tourist bureau at 36 seconds, a visit to the Oriental Gardens of Jacksonville at the :43 second mark. An alligator farm is seen at the 2 minute mark, and the entrance to St. Augustine at 2:20, along with the Castillo de San Marcos, the Oldest Church in America, and the Oldest School in the United States. At 6:30, the Silver Spring Seminole Indian Village is seen, and a turpentine forest at 7 minutes. A beautiful rainbow is also seen, followed by citrus groves at the 7:50 mark. Cypress Gardens is seen at the 7:50 mark. This was a botanical garden and theme park near Winter Haven, Florida that operated from 1936 to 2009. As of 2011, the botanical garden portion had been preserved inside the newly formed Legoland Florida. The Singing Tower also known as the Bock Tower is seen at the 9:00 mark. Homestead is seen at the 10 minute mark, along with stately hotels including the Floridian. The Miami Skyline circa 1941 is seen at the 11:40 mark, and Hialeah Park at the 11:57 mark. At 13:23, an oil tanker is seen docking with a tug alongside. At 14:30, the Pan Am Airlines seaplane base is seen, with Sikorsky S-42 seaplanes aka the China Clipper. The film ends with a visit to Monkey Jungle south of Miami.
More about Oriental Gardens: In 1925, George W. Clark, a Riverside resident, began planting overflow from his botanical collection on a vacant bluff overlooking the St. Johns River. Eventually, this 18 acre private estate would open to the public. From 1937 to 1954, Oriental Gardens became Jacksonville's major attraction.
During this period, the gardens featured hourly concerts, 500 year old Live Oaks and 100 varieties of tropical and subtropical plants, shrubs and trees. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. In 1954, the private estate was purchased by State Investment Company and carved into 33 single family home sites.

Safety Tips for Raising a Pet Chaco Tarantula
Hello, my name is Dr. Sian Evans. I'm a scientist at Monkey Jungle in Miami, Florida. In this clip, we're going to talk about buying a pet monkey. The first thing that you should really consider is do you want to buy a monkey? Or why do you want to buy a monkey? Monkey's are very complex, social animals that really need social companions that are monkeys and not humans. We are, as humans, we are perfectly capable of taking care of monkeys in captivity especially the smaller new world monkeys, but frequently, humans want to have monkeys as pets, as companions, or substitute something that may be lacking in their lives. These are not good reasons for buying a monkey, however if you want to buy a monkey because you want to keep several of them together in a nice, complex group, then that is perfectly possible. The way you go about buying a monkey would be to seek out a reputable breeder in the United States. You cannot import primates from it's from outside the United States as a pet. It is illegal. Once again, this has been Dr. Sian Evans.
