| TEXAS STATE CAPITOL PROPOSAL | HIBBSandHERS |
Her Dream Proposal from her Dream Man in the City of Her Dreams!
After being together for almost 7 years, Jared told Bianca that he was planning a 4 day trip to somewhere she's never been before, out of state for her birthday, September 17th 2017.
However, the day before, he told her that he had scheduled a private tour of the Texas State Capitol, which she was excited for, but she was met with a much different surprise.
Jared got down on his knee inside the capitol and asked Bianca to run away with him, which of course, she immediately obliged. After this, Jared then told her, I know you wanted to go somewhere you've never been before, but they've never been here before and then pointed up (where the GoPro was sitting) to the second story balcony and there were SEVEN of her closest friends from Tampa, where J&B used to live.
This video shows from the flight they took from Orlando, FL to landing in Austin, TX and getting to the location and then all the fun things Jared had planned for everyone over the next 5 days, since Bianca's friends all stayed with them in their house for the entire trip. :D
Talk about DREAM proposal.

Catholic Cemeteries 9/11 Memorial Monument Dedication
These photographs/videos were taken on September 11, 2011 at the Catholic Cemeteries 9/11 Memorial Monument dedication ceremony.
The 9/11 Memorial Monument of the Archdiocese of Newark’s Catholic Cemeteries was built earlier this year to remember those who lost their lives during the September 11, 2001 tragedy. In addition, the monument is meant to honor the many individuals who came to the aid of others in need, during and after the tragedy.
On September 11, 2011 a full Mass was celebrated at Holy Cross Cemetery, where first responders, survivors, dignitaries, government officials and fellow parishioners gathered to remember and pray for the fallen victims. During that ceremony, Newark Archbishop John Myers officially blessed the Catholic Cemeteries 9/11 Memorial Monument, marking the 10-year anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Driving around Texas Motor Speedway in a massive traffic jam
How many times have you heard about the traffic for races at Texas Motor Speedway?
Well it’s a tired old story that simply doesn’t hold water any longer but lazy reporters keep pulling out the same tired old story, race after race. More on that later.
How many times did you hear about the traffic going to the Texas-OU game Saturday?
Not once. I heard plenty about DART after the big DART light rail meltdown last year. It appears DART had their stuff together this year – I didn’t hear of any problems.
But I don’t recall reading or seeing a single story about how bad traffic was going to be going to the game. I don’t get to see or read everything, so perhaps I missed something. But there were no pervasive stories about traffic. I’ve been to hundreds of NASCAR races, hundreds of Indy car races, hundreds of NFL and college football games, concerts, festivals, Super Bowls, you name it. I’ve never seen anything like the traffic Saturday or the civic boosterism by the media that turned its back on the story.
Three hours before the game, traffic on I-35E South was backed up all the north of the World Trade Mart. Two-three hours before the game, signs around Fair Park started blinking “Official Lots Full.” Parking pass or not, you were at the mercy of the free market vendors selling you a place to park – whether it was their property or not. It is simply wrong to hold an event for which you do not have sufficient parking. It doesn’t happen at American Airlines Center, it doesn’t happen at Rangers Ballpark, it doesn’t happen at Cowboys Stadium. It certainly doesn’t happen at Texas Motor Speedway.
So where is the outrage? Why aren’t people swearing off going to the game in the future as a result of the trouble? Where is the negative media coverage?
Now to the speedway.
Yes, there was bad traffic in 1997 and 1998. In the first year, rain deluged Texas Motor Speedway on Friday, dumping six inches on the freshly graded turf parking areas. We quickly organized a park-and-ride location, renting buses from churches, schools, charter companies and DART. Amazingly the federal government couldn’t organize buses to move people out of New Orleans in the aftermath of Katrina for a couple of weeks, but we moved around 350,000 people on that Saturday and Sunday with less than 18 hours notice. To my stunned surprise, it worked pretty darn well. Not an artistic success by a long shot, but everybody was in their seat when the race started.
The second year people finally had the chance to “find” the speedway for the first time in their own cars. You know, their secret way in and out, that kind of thing. It was a mess, as expected.
But by 1999, things smoothed out. People learned their way in and out. We spent millions of dollars paving more lots (we have more paved parking than Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom in Orlando) and everything began to flow efficiently. By 2001, we opened a second interchange on I-35W -- Dale Earnhardt Way -- at a cost of $3.5 million to the speedway. The Fort Worth Police really buckled down and began doing an even better job, and today we move the biggest crowds to attend an event in the State of Texas more efficiently than the State Fair of Texas and as quickly as the old Texas Stadium was able to deliver.

Camp Blount 200th to be celebrated
Fayetteville and Lincoln County Tennessee will have the opportunity to become immersed in history as Fayetteville marks the Camp Blount Bicentennial with an impressive celebration to be held here on Sept. 27-28.
Camp Blount, situated on the Elk River just south of the river bridge in Fayetteville, marks the point where Tennessee troops rendezvoused in early October of 1813 during what was known as the War of 1812, a 32-month conflict between the United States and Great Britain. At that same time, the United States was also embroiled in a civil war with the Creek Nation.
The event commemorating the 200th anniversary of Camp Blount will also be held on the historic site and include a significant living history, said key organizers during a planning meeting Wednesday afternoon at the Fayetteville/Lincoln County Museum and Civic Center.
Camp Blount planning
Members of the Camp Blount Memorial Park Committee meet with representatives of the state's War of 1812 Commission.
Spearheaded by Dr. Farris Beasley and the Camp Blount Memorial Park Committee, bicentennial activities will feature a living history that will accurately portray what occurred during that historic era. There will also be vendors, sutlers and actual interpreters representing Gen. Andrew Jackson, Ensign Sam Houston, Pvt. David Crockett, Dr. Charles McKinney and Col. John Coffee, all central figures in recognized for their parts in the war.
Up to 100 interpreters -- or re-enactors -- from Tennessee, Alabama, Texas and other states are expected to participate in the event, and each will be costumed in authentic clothing of the period.
There will also be a few period high-end vendors selling hats and leather items, canteens and clothing pieces, said Myers Brown, archivist for the state museum and state chairman of the War of 1812 Commission, during Wednesday's meeting.
Camp Blount planning (6)The Camp Blount Bicentennial Celebration will be held in a section of the Camp Blount muster site located in a strip of meadow in the area behind Hardee's Restaurant. There will be no admission charge, according to plans.
The first day of the event, Friday, Sept. 27, has been designated as a School Day so that students may learn of the heritage of the community and historical figures who participated locally.
In addition to the rich history presented, the event is expected to also have a positive economic impact on the economy here, benefiting local restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations and hotels. Long term goals call for the site to continue drawing people to Fayetteville and for having history shared with future generations.
In addition to its role in the War of 1812, Camp Blount served as the mustering ground for thousands of soldiers at different times in history. Though its recognition is based largely on its connection to Jackson, the location was also used in the Seminole Wars of 1818 and 1836, as well as during the Civil War, when it is likely that both Federal and Confederate soldiers bivouacked there.
Camp Blount planning (10)In late September 1813, the call for troops to participate in the Creek War prompted the enlistment of over 3,500 Tennessee volunteers. The militant Creek Indians, armed by Great Britain, had attacked Fort Mims and massacred 250 men, women and children. Under the leadership of Jackson, then major general of the Tennessee militia, most of the soldiers from the Middle Tennessee area were ordered by Gov. Willie Blount to gather at the great oaks on the Elk River here.
At that time Fayetteville was a fledgling community just miles north of Tennessee and present-day Alabama border.
People were fearful, said Beasley. This happened four years after Fayetteville was founded.
Jackson left Fayetteville in October 1813 and met and defeated the Creek Indians at the Battle of Horseshoe Bend, thus ending the Indian threat on the frontier. Less than a year later, the troops again assembled at Camp Blount and then marched to New Orleans. Under Jackson, they defeated the British and ended the War of 1812 and the final attempt by Great Britain to colonize America.

Homeowners Say Don't Buy D.R. Horton Homes
SPANISH FORT, Ala. (WPMI) One local neighborhood says it is fed up with builder D.R. Horton. Homeowners in Grace Magnolias off Highway 31 near Spanish Fort say the company isn't addressing their safety concerns. Now, several people have put signs in their yard that say, Based on my experience I wound not purchase a D.R. Horton Home! Potentially, there are going to be more of these signs than there are for sale signs, said Nicole Thompson. Thompson says she unintentionally bought water front property. My yard is always a marsh, said Thompson. Next door at Kevin Wood's home, his yard stays soggy also. Wood says last month a project manager with D.R. Horton dug a hole to investigate the water issue. Wood says, the project manager told him he had a problem, but yet, nothing's been done to fix it. I'm scared it may be a sink hole. There's little children running around here, said Wood. Down the street, Kristy Bush says one month after she moved in raw sewage backed up in both her bathrooms. The tub and the shower, and the other tub in the other bathroom were like half way full of sewage, said Bush. Since then, she says she's had a/c problems, water seeping into her garage, and now her patio ceiling is warping. While the issues vary from homeowner to homeowner, all have the same complaint. They ignore me, said Wood. As a customer, it's just a lack of respect. And that's why they say they're putting up the signs, to warn other potential buyers. Local 15 News called the local D.R. Horton office Monday afternoon for a response. No one returned the call.
