Keeping The Faith: Manchester's Twisted Wheel - Brianna Riley
Northern Soul was an underground phenomenon, with black American soul music taking the North of England by storm in the late 1960s. Manchester's Twisted Wheel was one of the first clubs to host the infamous 'all-nighters' and it is still known to have defined the sound of Northern Soul. With a turbulent history and having faced inevitable demolition in 2013, the Twisted Wheel may have vanished from the streets of Manchester but the Northern Soul scene lives on.

We're always hyped to see footage from Greece's Jason Eustathiou and this time he's been busy in the streets of Turin (or Turino if you have the euro flair), a city nestled up in the north west of Italy. Despite some drastic weather changes, broken wheels and a big slam, Jason managed to lay down a bunch of his signature tech lines. That last clip is butter!
Back in the end of July we visited the city of Torino in Italy along with Jason Eustathiou for bmxday jam...we thought it would be a good idea to extend the trip for a few days in search of some fresh spots. With the help of the local riders we pedaled (a lot) to some really good locations around the city, not everything came out as we planned due to some incoveniences such as weather changes (from super hot to uber rain) ,bike problems such as broken wheels and chains and non the less a big crash of Jason...of course that didn't stop him from filming his technical lines, although he was a bit dissapointed that he couldn't charge a couple of big moves on some really sweet rails that he had left for our last 2 days there...but in the end like in every trip, you get to see new places , ride new spots, meet a bunch of interesting people and nothing else matters! - Ronny Skevis

STORYLINE:
Authorities across Greece braced for further violence on Tuesday, as the funeral takes place of a 15-year-old boy whose shooting by police sparked the country's worst riots in decades.
Three successive nights of widespread burning and looting have left stores and buildings gutted across Athens, and serious damage in Greece's other main cities.
The widely televised scenes of destruction are likely to further undermine a conservative government already rocked by financial scandals and clinging to a razor-thin majority of just one seat in the 300-member Parliament.
Prime Minister Costas Karamanlis said there would be no leniency for the rioters because no one has the right to use this tragic incident as an excuse for actions of raw violence he said after an emergency meeting with the country's president, Karolos Papoulias.
Rioting began on Saturday night after the death of 15-year-old Alexandros Grigoropoulos, who was shot by police in the often volatile Exarhia district.
Grigoropoulos' funeral is to be held in a seaside suburb of Athens on Tuesday afternoon.
Schools and universities across Greece will remain closed and more public demonstrations are planned.
Two police officers have been arrested and charged, one with murder and the other as an accomplice.
Within hours of the boy's death, riots erupted in cities across Greece, from Thessaloniki in the north to cities in Crete and the holiday island of Corfu.
By early Tuesday, hundreds of stores, cars, banks and buildings in about a dozen cities had been torched, smashed or looted.
The worst violence occurred late on Monday when gangs of masked and hooded youths set up burning barricades across city streets and fought pitched street battles with riot police firing volleys of tear gas.
The city's Christmas tree in central Syntagma Square also went up in flames.
Police announced 89 arrests late on Monday, while more than 100 other people were detained for questioning. Twelve police officers were injured, while authorities did not have figures for civilian injuries.
