The Park Is Beautiful I Highly Suggest Going To It If You Are In The St.Louis Area. The Park Is About 40 Minutes From St.Louis, Missouri. It Is Worth The Trip And Its A Nice Place To Take The Family Or Your Friends Too On A Saturday Afternoon If You Have Nothing Else To Do. O'FallonTV: Slide the City | O'Fallon, Missouri
O'Fallon was green and blue a little while ago, as our first Slide the City hit town and turned a few blocks of Mexico Road into an epic one thousand foot long water slide. This two-day event let thousands of thrill-seekers soak up the summer sun while sliding down this massive water slide. Measuring over three football fields in length, this new event was the water party of the summer for our city. The streets were packed all day long, and every slider had an unforgettable experience.
In between trips down the slide, residents got a bite to eat at the tasty food trucks and vendors, kids bounced around the Kids Zone, and friends just hung out or danced in the street. Thanks to all the sponsors and volunteers who helped make Slide the City a fun event for everyone in O'Fallon. We hope you enjoyed slipping, sliding, and splashing around Mexico Road at O'Fallon's first Slide the City.

Aerial Drone Footage of Johnson Shut ins Campground near St Louis Missouri on October 14th 2017 ????
We recently camped at Johnson Shut-ins Campground and I had a great day to fly the DJI Phantom 3 Standard to get some aerial drone footage. This campground has more activities available to it than most including a paved bike riding trail, the shut-ins themselves, hiking and horseback trails. Loop 1 is the equestrian loop for campers that want to bring their horses. This loop has concrete pads. Loop 2 has full hook-ups water, sewer and electric with concrete pads for camper trailers and RVs. Loop 3 has electric at the sites with concrete pads. Loop 4 are basic sites with concrete pads and no electric. Loop 5 are walk in sites that are meant for tents most of them have wooden decks with dirt pads.

This is one of my favorite areas of Missouri. Also this is one of my if not the favorite Missouri State Park.

O'FallonTV: Recognizing the Past | O'Fallon, Missouri
Over the past 4 years Sage Chapel Cemetery has gained increased local attention thanks to the dedication of several residents and family members of the deceased. During this time the cemetery experienced renewed care taking, a new sign, and even a soldier burial ceremony for Howard Morris a deceased WWI Vet. For those of you who don't know, Sage Chapel is an African American cemetery that was established back in 1881 by the African Methodist Episcopal Church. And over time many of O'Fallon and St. Charles Counties prominent African American citizens were buried there. Sage Chapel has approximately 111 burials documented by either Death Certificates, Obituaries, or oral tradition. There are 30 headstones and 3 other family marked graves. At least 20 of those buried at Sage Chapel were born as slaves. In the fall of last Cheryl Hibbeler, Dorris Keeven-Franke, and Justin Watkins traveled to Jefferson City, Missouri, and presented preliminary findings to add Sage Chapel Cemetery to the National Register of Historic Places. Then, in late November Amber Cox with the State Historic Preservation Office notified Justin that property may be eligible for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places.
