Bordeaux, Port of the Moon - UNESCO World Heritage Site
The UNESCO World Heritage site of Bordeaux is a port city on the western coast of France. Known as the Port of the Moon after a crescent-shaped bend in the nearby river, it was the centre of French wine trading and exporting for centuries. It has a fantastic legacy of buildings, and the typically French-styled streets influenced many different areas including Paris. Let's check it out!

It is my second time visiting bordeaux france and just now I got a chance to see these two Unesco Heritage Site in the city and happy sharing it with you. An awesome city and lovely at night. I hope you will enjoy the video as I enjoyed my time in bordeaux..
Bordeaux, hub of the famed wine-growing region, is a port city on the Garonne River in southwestern France. It’s known for its Gothic Cathédrale Saint-André, 18th- to 19th-century mansions and notable art museums such as the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux. Public gardens line the curving river quays. The grand Place de la Bourse, centered on the Three Graces fountain, overlooks the Miroir d’Eau reflecting pool.

le port de la lune...(bordeaux, france)
● It had been a while since I left Rennes and I was in need of a little trip outside of Britanny and it was a major change. It's incredible how beautiful Bordeaux looks at night, being by the river with a dark blue sky was astonishing.
● I named the video le port de la lune due to the fact of the crescent shape of the port in the Garonne River.
● A tip if you ever go to there, the same ticket you buy for the tram and bus, can also be used for a boat ride, which is really worth it.

Places to see in ( Bordeaux - France ) Le Pont Jacques Chaban Delmas
The Pont Jacques Chaban-Delmas is a vertical-lift bridge over the Garonne in Bordeaux, France. It was inaugurated on 16 March 2013 by President François Hollande and Alain Juppé, mayor of Bordeaux. Its main span is 110 m long. As of 2013, it is the longest vertical-lift bridge in Europe. It is named in honour of Jacques Chaban-Delmas, a former Prime Minister of France and a former mayor of Bordeaux.
An architectural feat, the Jacques Chaban-Delmas bridge is a fine example of modern technical know-how Its graceful shape can be seen as a continuation of the quays and fits in perfectly with its surroundings. The bridge is a very successful combination of technological prowess and aesthetics. It confers a very welcome modern touch to the city's urban development. Located between the Pont d’Aquitaine and the Pont de Pierre, this is the fifth bridge over the Garonne. 575 metres long and 77 metres high, it is the tallest lift bridge in France, and even in Europe
When night falls, the bridge is illuminated and constitutes yet another beautiful facet of the Port of the Moon, to the delight of Bordelais and photographers. The blue colour of the pylons corresponds to high tide, whereas the green indicates low tide. The bridge is not to be missed during your trip to Bordeaux. We suggest discovering it during a night-time walk along the quays. And please don't hesitate to share your photos on social networks

Laponian Area (UNESCO/NHK)
The Arctic Circle region of northern Sweden is the home of the Saami, or Lapp people. It is the largest area in the world (and one of the last) with an ancestral way of life based on the seasonal movement of livestock. Every summer, the Saami lead their huge herds of reindeer towards the mountains through a natural landscape hitherto preserved, but now threatened by the advent of motor vehicles. Historical and ongoing geological processes ...

Gulf of Porto: Calanche of Piana, Gulf of Girolata, ... (UNESCO/NHK)
The nature reserve, which is part of the Regional Natural Park of Corsica, occupies the Scandola peninsula, an impressive, porphyritic rock mass. The vegetation is an outstanding example of scrubland. Seagulls, cormorants and sea eagles can be found there. The clear waters, with their islets and inaccessible caves, host a rich marine life.
