A Legnano, 20 km circa da Milano, ha aperto i battenti la Rage Room, una sala per chi vuole sfogare stress o ira spaccando semplicemente tutto, senza preoccuparsi dei danni procurati. Come sottolineano i proprietari dell'attività, la sala dell'Anger Games è attrezzata e insonorizzata, offre un set di utensili (dalle stoviglie agli oggetti di elettronica) da poter distruggere con martelli, piedi di porco o mazze da baseball. I clienti, dotati di protezioni, hanno anche la possibilità di scegliere la colonna sonora per accompagnare i 15 minuti di trattamento. L'idea è nata dalla necessità che ognuno di noi ha di sfogarsi ed è un ottimo antistress. All'Università di Torino un Laboratorio sul wargame analogico
Da alcuni anni, i professori Alonge e Fassone, del Dipartimento di Studi Umanistici, tengono un seminario di introduzione al wargame analogico, legato alle loro ricerche nell’ambito dei Game Studies.
Un wargame è un gioco di simulazione di un evento bellico, passato o presente, da Giulio Cesare all’attuale guerra in Afghanistan (ma ci sono anche wargame su guerre futuribili: l’invasione cinese di Taiwan, o un conflitto interplanetario). Al contrario di altri giochi a soggetto militare, come gli scacchi o Risiko, che offrono una rappresentazione stilizzata della guerra, i wargame sono giochi “realistici”. Le pedine rappresentano ciascuna un reparto specifico (fanteria, forze corazzate, paracadutisti), ognuno con le proprie capacità operative. La plancia raffigura una mappa, le cui caratteristiche geografiche interagiscono con il movimento e il combattimento. E a seconda del soggetto del gioco, ci sono molti altri fattori che possono essere rappresentati, dal morale delle truppe al tempo atmosferico. Si tratta di giochi piuttosto complessi, che pertanto non hanno mai avuto un seguito di massa, ma in questa nicchia sono stati sviluppati alcuni concetti chiave del game design contemporaneo, che ritroviamo in Dungeons & Dragons e in molti videogame.

Umberto Scandola and his Skoda Fabia R5 - Actions + Interview at Motor1Days 2018 [ITA/ENG SUB]
At the 2018 edition of the Motor1Days at the Modena racetrack also Umberto Scandola, 2013 Italian Rally Champion Rally on Skoda Fabia S2000 was present, interviewed inside the Motor Talk conference room. Many important people linked to the car world have intervened and the strong driver from Verona has spoken of himself, of the sacrifices to achieve important results and the constant commitment of his entire team together with the support of his family. In the video, you can find the full interview along with some laps of the track that he did on board the recent Skoda Fabia R5 with which he participated in the Italian Championship as official driver.

Durante l'edizione 2018 del Motor1Days presso l'autodromo di Modena anche Umberto Scandola, campione Italiano Rally nel 2013 su Skoda Fabia S2000 è stato ospite, intervistato presso la sala convegni Motor Talk. Molti importanti personaggi legati al mondo dell'auto sono intervenuti ed il forte pilota Veronese ha parlato si se, dei sacrifici per arrivare a risultati importanti e dell'impegno costante di tutta la sua squadra assieme al supporto dei genitori. Nel video trovate l'intervista integrale assieme ad alcuni giri di pista che ha compiuto a bordo della recente Skoda Fabia R5 con cui partecipa al Campionato Italiano in veste di pilota ufficiale.

The Brutal Tattoo Ritual Built on Pain
Tattoos hurt, but for most people, the pain is just a means to an end. Tattoo artists are usually mindful of their client's pain threshold, catering for breaks and mitigating any unnecessary brutality. It's abnormal for tattoo artists to restrain people while they're getting tattooed, or for the tattooee to bolt upright in agony to escape the needle's unrelenting penetrations. Nor is it very common to see sadistic mirth occupying the faces of multiple tattoo artists as they inflict the unnaturally long, thick, shallow lines seemingly without pause.
Enter Brutal Black. It's the tattoo project where mandalas come to die and where pain is prioritized over aesthetics. Ritual and rebirth are at the forefront of this project helmed by Valerio Cancellier and Cammy Stewart. They take those brave enough to be tattooed by them on one of the most brutal experiences one can imagine; far beyond one's threshold for pain to create an entirely new experience.

The acclaimed 19th-century opera has been reimagined with a contemporary twist by Against the Grain Theatre, which sees the Italian libretto translated into English and transports you from Paris's Latin-quarter to your local Canadian bar.

On September 27, La Bohème hit the road on a cross-Canada tour kicking things off in Banff, Alberta. They'll be performing in bars across Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon and Ontario, then landing in Toronto for a two-week residency.
Presented by Against the Grain Theatre, Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity and CBC Arts, we'll be livestreaming La Bohème straight to your living room (or cell phone). Think the Metropolitan Opera's Live in HD but scrappier. The La Bohème broadcast will be hosted by CBC's Lindsay Michael, co-host and producer of Podcast Playlist and a trained opera singer herself.
La Bohème follows a group of young artists through life, love and loss. Rodolfo (Marcel d'Entremont), is an aspiring screenplay writer who falls in love with Mimì (Jonelle Sills), a florist and sewing enthusiast. Meanwhile their friend Marcello (Clarence Frazer), an OCAD U-trained illustrator, is in an on-and-off again relationship with his flirty, unfaithful sweetheart, Musetta (Danika Lorèn). La Bohème is directed by AtG founder and artistic director Joel Ivany with music director David Eliakis at the piano.
