Paris is a permanent party. The glitzy and glamourous Rue St Honoré and Place Vendôme.
Stores in the United States tend to take down their Christmas decorations the first week of January. Paris tends to celebrate a little longer, and why not? The number of tourists flocking to the capital is back and it is a great reason to celebrate, especially around Place Vendôme. There is so much to see in this area. The new Flagship Louis Vuitton store is the main attraction du jour. Tourists can't get enough of this store channeling Versailles. Major fashion houses like Dior, Givenchy, Gucci, Moschino, and Hermès on Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré and Saint Honoré are where all the rich and the famous, the tourists as well as magazine editors and style bloggers come to do their shopping. While shopping here isn’t exactly financially friendly, it’s very enjoyable to just gaze and fantasize. I'll be covering more in depth this area of Paris in my upcoming vlogs. The Ritz, the new Louis Vuitton store, the Hermès Faubourg Saint Honoré and much more. Have a beautiful week!

Places to see in ( Paris - France ) Rue Saint Honore
The rue Saint-Honoré is a street in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, France. It is named after the collegial Saint-Honoré church (fr) situated in ancient times within the cloisters of Saint-Honoré. The street, on which are located a number of museums and upscale boutiques, is near the Jardin des Tuileries and the Saint-Honoré market.
Like many streets in the heart of Paris, the rue Saint-Honoré, as it is now known, was laid out as early as the Middle Ages or before. The street, at one time, continued beyond the former city walls into what was the faubourg (from Latin foris burgem, an area outside the city). This continuation was eventually named the rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré.
The rue Saint-Honoré has been given the following names in its long history:
The section between the rue de la Lingerie and the rue de la Tonnellerie was named the rue de la Chausseterie from 1300 to the 17th century.
The section between the now extinct rue Tirechappe and the rue de l'Arbre Sec was named the rue du Chastiau Festu (1300) or du Château Fêtu.
The section between the rue de l'Arbre Sec and the now defunct rue du Rempart was named the rue de la Croix du Trahoir, rue de la Croix du Tiroir or rue du Traihoir, du Traihouer, du Trayoir, du Trahoir, du Triouer, or du Trioir between the 13th and 14th centuries; and the rue de la chaussée Saint-Honoré from 1450.
The section between the now extinct rue du Rempart and the rue Royale was known successively as the chemin de Clichy (1204), grand chemin Saint-Honoré (1283), chaussée Saint-Honoré (1370), grand chemin de la porte Saint-Honoré (1392), chemin Royal (1393), nouvelle rue Saint-Louis (1407), grand rue Saint-Louis (1421), rue Neuve-Saint-Louis (1430), grande rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré (1609), chaussée Saint-Honoré (1634), rue Neuve-Saint-Honoré (1638)
In 1966, the part between the Palais-Royal, Théâtre Français, and place André Malraux was given the name place Colette.

New TOUR EIFFEL Timepiece by SAINT HONORE PARIS (2017)
The first watch made of steel from the Eiffel Tower
SAINT HONORE has designed a collector's timepiece: the first ever to be made from a piece of metal girder from the world's most famous monument. SAINT HONORE has used this precious component to make the bezel, its decoration and brown colour an unmistakable reference to the French monument.
2017, SAINT HONORÉ reveals a 64 pieces limited edition of this exceptional timepiece. The small second hand is replaced by a stylised wheel which evokes the Eiffel Tower red elevators.

Quartier Halles, Palais-Royal, Place-Vendôme, Madeleine.
Début 21 rue des Halles. Fin 14 rue Royale.
Longueur 1 840 m. Largeur 20 m.
A six-minute visit to the place du Marché Saint-Honoré. Four hundred years ago it was a convent. Two hundred years ago it was an open food market. Sixty years ago it was turned into a parking garage. Now it's a modern office and shopping building, hidden among much older buildings near the heart of Paris.
Strolling on the chic Rue Saint Honoré. A Slice of Parisian Life.
A street that epitomizes Parisian chic...In the heart of historical Paris near Place Vendôme, the Rue Saint Honoré, and its elegant continuation, the Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré is an incredible concentration of chic. In the afternoon, the street is filled with chic Parisians with their shopping bags, mothers picking up their kids from school, businessmen meeting at cafés, tourists and locals chatting at Le Castiglione (first frame in the video), a chic local hangout with great food which suits any style of dining.
