ROAD TRIP TO WHISTLER: Sea to Sky Highway, Waterfalls and Hikes - CANADA PART 2
The second part of my Canadian adventure is now live! This video is all about the road trip from Vancouver to Whistler, driving on the beautiful Sea to Sky Highway. We did a few stops on the way, stopping at the Stawamus Chief Provincial Park for a the First Peak Hike and to check out Shannon Falls. The view is incredible, check out the video for full footage! We then also stopped at Brandywine Falls before reaching Whistler.

We are taking a drive to Whistler Canada on a pleasant Sunday afternoon. Sadly a bug hit the camera so the video ends a bit after Squamish... never the less, I'm sure you can enjoy the nice scenery that British Columbia in Canada offers.
The music was performed by Free Jazz Vancouver, a group of musicians that enjoy improvising.

Provides footage of the first segment of the world-famous Sea-to-Sky Highway, and details some of the significant improvements that the British Columbia Ministry of Transportation have conducted in recent years for the 2010 Winter Olympics.

The Sea to Sky Gondola, Squamish BC is one of the incredible tourist attractions that is just a must see and it's only a short 45 minute drive up the scenic Sea to Sky highway from Vancouver.
The sea to sky gondola ascends high above the Chief (famous for rock climbing and hiking) and goes back into pristine rain forest. An incredible lodge has been perched at the top of the 10 minute gondola ride. The views are nothing less than magnificent. They have a fine dinning as well as casual food from the restaurant where you can either enjoy inside or outside on one of the decks overlooking the incredible view of Howe Sound.
On our way, we stopped by at Shannon Falls which is literally beside the parking lot of the Sea to Sky Gondola.

Highway 99, also known as the Fraser Delta Thruway south of Vancouver, and the Sea to Sky Highway, the Squamish Highway, or Whistler Highway north of Vancouver, is the major north–south artery running through the Greater Vancouver area of British Columbia from the U.S. border, up Howe Sound through the Sea to Sky Country to Lillooet, and connecting to Highway 97 just north of Cache Creek. The number of this highway is derived from the old U.S. Route 99, with which the highway originally connected. The highway currently connects with Interstate 5 at the international border.

A sunny day drive from the Horseshoe Bay area up to Squamish. There is brief stop at Porteau Cove Provincial Park, which I would certainly recommend for the spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and water.

Starting in downtown Squamish, I hug the cliffs above the fjord of Howe Sound, heading southbound towards Canada's third largest city on a beautiful afternoon. Along the way I take in some scenic views at Porteau Cove and Cypress Mountain, before crossing over the famous Lions Gate Bridge and enter Vancouver proper, finally enjoying a scenic drive through the rugged western half of Stanley Park.

This is the last of our driving videos for a while.
We've saved the best for last as we cruise on the Sea to Sky Highway from Whistler to Canada. On the way we pass by Squamish BC. Please enjoy the majestic scenery of Canada.
