Take a tour of St. Donatus Church in Zadar, Croatia -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats.
Initially called The Church of the Holy Trinity; The Church of Saint Donatus in Zadar, Croatia was given its current moniker in the 15th century.
The church was erected in the ninth century, before the introduction of Romanesque architecture.
Its structure is rich with history, built next to an early Roman Forum.
Instead, Saint Donatus Church has a unique, circular design, with a red, peaked roof.
The simple exterior with its whitewashed walls have remained roughly the same for hundreds of years.
Though Saint Donatus no longer holds services, it is still accessible to visitors.

A small video about our trip in Zadar, Croatia. A small city situated on the Adriatic Sea, with a lot of history. Ancient Roman city, Zadar was important for the Byzantine Empire, the Venetian Republic and of course the Ottoman empire.
When walking in the city, lot of old buildings are still to see and lot of small restaurant will serve you good fish and meat. Definitely a good idea to stop there one or two days.
