North 2 Boards, Paddle Boards, Paddleboarding Delray Beach, FL (HD)
North 2 Paddleboards, quality hand made paddleboards and paddles from Delray Beach, FL.
North 2 Board Sports is a surf and lifestyle brand owned and operated by two true watermen. Ryan Pena and Clayton Dunn became good friends while stand up paddleboarding off of Delray Beach, Florida’s “North 2” area of the city’s beach. Ryan was born in Southern California where he learned to surf and found his love for the ocean in the North County San Diego area near Encinitas. Clayton, a Delray Beach native and long time South Florida surfer has over 40 years experience in the surf industry. At a time “Clay” even worked in a surfboard factory with Nomad Surfboards back in the 1970′s and 80′s.
North 2 Board Sports mission was to build durable, affordable, quality, lightweight surf and stand up paddleboards that are not only great looking, but also great performers. All of our boards and paddles are built using only quality components and precision CNC blank shaping to obtain optimal strength, lightweights, and durability. Surfing, exploring and passion for the water is what North 2 is all about.

Welcome to Hugh Taylor Birch State Park
Ft. Lauderdale’s “Central Park” was gifted to the city by Hugh Taylor Birch for whom this urban oasis is named.
The ocean-side city of Fort Lauderdale has a population density of 4,761 people per square mile. However, residents are fortunate to have their own slice of wilderness amid the highly developed Miami metro area. Hugh Taylor Birch is the city’s own Central Park, complete with gopher tortoises and boat access from the intracoastal waterway. It’s easy to see why Hugh Taylor Birch wanted to preserve his estate for future generations to enjoy—it’s an oasis perfect for relaxation and exercise. The park is a vibrant center for the community of Fort Lauderdale, and residents take pleasure in activities from rollerblading to reading under the shade of palms and oaks.
Visitors can access the beach via the pedestrian tunnel under A1A. Picnic areas overlook the channel; pavilions with water and electricity are available for rental. A group/youth campground is available to organized groups. The Terramar Visitor Center features displays regarding the area's natural and cultural history.

PADDLEBOARDS AND ROYALTY!! (Day 7)
Completed Day 7 of the cleanse and it was definitely difficult to not eat that pizza.. ah. However; Matt, Daniel and our friend Dave all went paddleboarding in the Sarasota Bay. We went through the Mangroves and I have never done that before. Afterwards, I joined my fellow past DeSoto Queens, Princesses' and past court members for a pool party/meeting. We had a blast. I was exhausted afterwards and relaxed.

Today we will be spending a day in Miami Beach. Miami Beach is a city on several man-made and natural barrier islands that are situated across the Biscayne Bay from Miami city proper. Several bridges connect it to Miami. It’s a municipality in its own right, even though many visitors think that it is part of Miami. The best time to visit is between November and April because the weather is dry and not as hot and humid as during the summer months.
Many start their day in Miami Beach early. So do the pelicans that hunt in the waters of Biscayne Bay for their breakfast just after sunrise.
Standup paddleboarding, enjoying a barefoot walk or a run on the beach, swimming, or yoga are a few of the great ways to start the morning in Miami Beach.
Miami Beach is well-known worldwide for its… you guessed it — beaches! Whether you lounge under an umbrella at one of the boutique hotel beaches around Twentieth Street, or join the locals for some sunshine and people-watching around Third Street, there is something for everyone.
The Fisher Island is just across the water. It is an exclusive neighbourhood only accessible by private boat or a ferry. The ownership changed through its history but until the 1980s it used to be owned by one family. Now there are apartment buildings and mansions there owned by America’s “rich and famous”. The total population of this island as of the 2000 census is just under 500 people. It is possible to visit Fisher Island if you have an invitation from a resident or are going to the Fisher Island Club.
Many of the hotels and vacation rentals in condominiums are a popular place to stay for “snowbirds” that escape the cold of the Northern USA and Canada during the winter months. Summer is the off-season here because of the heat. Many of the rentals are empty during the summer.
Miami is famous for its Art Deco architecture. Many of the Art Deco buildings are located around the South Beach near Ocean Drive. Most of them were erected between mid 1920s and mid 1940s, and the district has the largest collection of Art Deco buildings in the world. The pastel tone buildings, the palm trees, the neon signs — as soon as you enter this area you will recognize it.
Recently the area became known as the center of the art, hosting the annual art show, Art Basel Miami Beach. The show features contemporary art works from several hundred art galleries from several dozen countries.
Now let us take a stroll along the boardwalk, which runs along the beach for 4 miles (or 6 kilometers). Many enjoy jogging, or rollerblading along it, or you could simply walk to find your favourite beach. Some of the boardwalk is paved, some of it is a raised wooden deck, and all along the boardwalk the views of the beach are breathtaking.
In 2014 the new South Pointe Park Pier was opened at the Southern edge of Miami Beach. It replaced the old structure that has been deemed unsafe for use.
By noon there are many people at the beach swimming, exercising, taking photos. Even though it could get a bit crowded you can sometimes glimpse manatees just off the shore.
Beach volleyball is one of the favourite past-times, and there are nets in South Beach around the Ocean Drive that are free for use.
