Cowboy Graham, Bareback Bronc Riding, Fort Worth, Texas - #TMEvents
Wonder what it's like to ride a bronc? Cowboy Graham saddled up for Bareback Bronc Riding at The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame, Fort Worth, Texas. A movie camera was there to capture the rodeo champion and now it is being shown on the big screen in saloons all over Texas.
Cowboy Graham got his training at the Fort Worth Herd Cow Camp. He picked up his horse on the Trinity Trail and kept it at the Stockyards Station in Fort Worth before the rodeo event.
After the competition Cowboy Graham celebrated at Billy Bob's the world's largest Honky Tonk and then spent the weekend recovering with the horse being feed and watered at the Wildcatter Ranch. The horse has now been given a Brand USA for his next outing at #TMEvents the Big TravelMedia.ie Networking Event in Dublin on the 9 July.
Cowboy Graham will hold up in the Kimpton Hotel until he can get his Bronc on the Delta Airlines flight DL176 from Houston on Sunday. If he makes it back, there are more American Holidays, Bareback Bronc Riding and Discover America adventures to look forward too.

2013 National Cowgirl Hall of Fame Honoree - Elizabeth Lizzie Johnson Williams
Elizabeth Lizzie Johnson Williams (1840‒1924), who ranched near Austin, was a pioneer in breaking the barrier into what had always been considered a man's world: cattle trading. Legend has it that she was one of the first women to drive her own cattle, along with her husband's, up the Chisholm Trail, earning her the nickname, The Cattle Queen of Texas.

2012 National Cowgirl Hall of Fame Honoree - Mildred Farris
Mildred Farris is an esteemed leader throughout the sport of rodeo. As a competitor, Farris was Texas Barrel Racing Association's champion barrel racer from 1955-1957, she earned a qualification twelve times to the National Finals Rodeo, was the runner up to World Champion in 1959, 1960, and 1969, and in 1968 she earned the fastest time at the NFR. Active involvement in the Girls Rodeo Association (predecessor to the Women's Professional Rodeo Association) meant that for six years Farris served as Director, Vice-President, and President. The year 1955 marked her graduation from Sul Ross University, and the year of her marriage to John Farris. In 1958 she joined the GRA/WPRA, and since 1960 Farris has served as rodeo secretary for many top producers including Tommy Steiner, Harper and Morgan, Neal Gay, Jerry Nelson, and the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo among others. Her dedication and contribution to the sport of rodeo as a secretary is noteworthy; she was named Secretary of the Year eight times by the Professional Rodeo Cowboy's Association and received the same title in 1998 and 2008 by the WPRA. Additionally, Farris has been inducted into 3 Halls of Fame, in 1994, the Sul Ross Rodeo Hall of Fame, in 2004, the Texas Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame, and in 2006 in the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame.
