- Virginia & Truckee 4-4-0 #22 Inyo, a classic 1875-built American type used in movies including High, Wide and Handsome, Union Pacific, Red River, McLintock!, The Great Locomotive Chase as the Texas, and The Wild Wild West. This is the only day the Inyo is operated.

Visit a great resource for amazing Things to do in Green Bay WI. Today we're out touring a year round Ice Skating Rink called De Pere Ice and Recreation Center. This indoor ice skating rink in De Pere WI is host of a ton great activities not limited to Youth Hockey in Green Bay WI, Figure Skating Green Bay WI, and open skating. This is another in a series of postings on our YouTube channel of a cool New series of Old videos -- featured only on here -- taken from a personal collection of re-enacting films and videos from the 1980s that can't be found anywhere else, or else we've tried to find them for nostalgia's sake, but did our own digging and presenting the results of our treasure hunt here. Some are taken from VHS originals or DVD transfers from those VHS copies. Originals were in Standard Def or Videotaped off of TV when they first aired. Some shot professionally and others by individuals with portable home video cameras on their shoulders.
Some Classic Re-enacting videos are already searchable on YouTube, but we wanted to start a new series of some rarely or never before seen classics that either only aired once or where short lived and available only to a select few at the time. Description: After getting a lead for a new fossil location in Virginia, we decided to travel out in search of the old stories that could lead us to a new Carboniferous fossil location! Little did we know that this location would produce an incredible amount of fossils with remarkable preservation! The video of the dig site was cut because we wished to protect the integrity of the formation. This turned out to be a remarkable trip with tons of museum quality specimens. The video also includes a nice segment on the geology of the formation and specimens which were recovered! Museums For All at the San Bernardino County Museum
The San Bernardino County Museum has joined Museums For All, a signature access program of the Association of Children's Museums (ACM) and the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) to encourage families of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum habits. The museum's participation is sponsored by the San Bernardino County Museum Association and U.S. Bank.
The program allows families, up to nine people in a group, to pay $1 per person for admission to the museum by showing an EBT card from any state. In California, the EBT card is called the Golden State Advantage Card and is available to families in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). The EBT card is not used for admission payment, which is made by cash or credit/debit card. The program is valid during all public hours, and includes the San Bernardino County Museum in Redlands, the Victor Valley Museum in Apple Valley, and the county's historic sites.
The Museums for All initiative represents a long stride toward the goal of reaching more children and parents, especially those living in poverty, with the valuable learning resources of museums. The museum joins over 150 others across the nation in offering qualified families visits to museums for a minimal fee, to inspire new skills and interests, ignite creativity and enrich social connections.
