BLM Policy Do What We Say Not What We Do
The BLM enforces their regulations and laws on the citizen that use so called public lands, but then will turn around and violate those same regulations and laws there selves. Utah Director Juan Palma talks about protecting archaeological sites and how important they are and then will turn around and damage hundreds of sites. We would like to thank the Friends of Cedar Mesa for doing a film showing Recapture Canyon after the Protest. We have used their film as third part evidence to show what Recapture Looked like after the ride. We also used it to compare the so called damage in Recapture to the damage the BLM has done to hundreds of acres.

A visit to the Favell Museum is a must for anyone who loves Native American artifacts, and Western art.
Over 100,000 artifacts, illustrating the lives of indigenous tribes from North and South America are on display, with the primary focus on Native American tribes. Collections dating from 12,000 years ago include thousands of arrowheads, obsidian knives, spear points, primitive ancient stone tools, native clothing, intricate bead work, basketry, pottery and more. The museum is home to an incredible fire opal arrowhead, found in the Black Rock Desert in 1910.
The collections on display give the visitor a suggestion of the richness and variety of societies no longer here and they illustrate how creative and adaptive the native people were. The artifacts give you a feel for what it must have been like for the early Native Americans to survive and thrive in southern Oregon, on the Columbia River and up and down the west coast of North and South America. Cultures from the mid-west to the Pacific and from Peru to Alaska are represented.
Among the ancient artifacts, you will find original paintings by many famous western artists, including the original oil “The Scouts” by Charles M. Russell. You will also find original paintings by John Clymer, Frank McCarthy and many more, who tell in their own artistic style, the story of the west. The displays represent a significant roll call of the Cowboy Artists of America.
Lithographs from McKenney & Hall's History of Indian Tribes of North America
The History of the Indian Tribes of North America by John McKenney and Thomas Hall, was/is a Three Volume Set of 120 hand-colored lithographic portraits (with information about the chiefs, warriors, and women within) that were made from the original indigenous paintings that were housed in the Indian Gallery in the Department of War in Washington D. C. These Native American lithographs are among the only portraits remaining of this early generation of Native American chiefs, warriors, statesmen, medicine men, and commoners from the Late 18th and Early 19th centuries. The Three-Volume set sold for a mere $120 back in 1836/37 and 1842 to 1844 when they were, initially, published. Today, the volumes and the individual lithographs are worth thousands of dollars. As you search the web on this book, you'll find the names of different authors, different years of publications, and the names of different artists for the same painting. When one artist was no longer available to paint more of the same lithographs, another artist was contracted. You'll, also, find that the Three-Volume set has been published, again, but in a condensed format, with some sets in black and white and others in color., prices varying, of course. Also, some auction houses and online bookstores have original copies of the Three-Volume set of The History of the Indian Tribes of North America by McKenney & Hall. Some museums, universities, and individuals own First Edition sets and/or original lithographs. My family has 86 of the 120 original First Edition hand-painted lithographs along with the original text that goes with each lithograph. By the way, the tribes represented in these volumes were from many indigenous tribes: Osage, Creek, Sioux, Otto, Pawnee, Sauk & Fox, Seminole, Cherokee, Ioway, Ojibray, Uchee, Musquakee, to name a few. For more info about the book that the images in this video represent, visit wikipedia and its links, for starters: Multiple online bookstores, including Google Play Books, which lets you read the WHOLE book on their site. By the way, the two songs that are played in this video are from youtube's free database. They're titled, Angevin: Thatched Villages, and Future Gladiator, both by Kevin MacLeod, an Irish musician.
