STUNNING Descent, Approach, Landing at Pula Airport, CROATIA - Amazing Scenery & Coastline (60 fps)
A beautiful arrival into Pula Airport, Croatia on a glorious October evening onboard an Easyjet Airbus A320-214! ????
We begin on our descent through a thin layer of cloud, before getting our first glimpse of the wonderful country of Croatia. Before long we are vectored in for the ILS runway 27 and commence our approach into Pula Airport (PUY/LDPL) over the stunning Istria coastline. After a really smooth landing and a short taxi we arrive at our parking stand before deboarding the 1.3 year old Airbus A320, G-EZRJ.
This was the beginning of a brilliant 4 day trip to Pula - we had a fantastic time and plan to visit Split and Dubvrovnik one day! ???? A trip report of this flight and the return flight will be coming:D
60fps inflight videos have arrived on my channel! ???? Hit the thumbs up for more ????

Our visit Pula travel guide documentary covers some of the top attractions including a food guide to pizza, top sightseeing tourist attractions and the city by day including visiting castles, forts churches, the old town, roman ruins, theatres, beaches and along the marina. We also cover off-the-beaten-path outdoor activities you won't find in a typical Pula tourism brochure, Pula itinerary or Pula, Croatia city tour also known as Pola.
10 Things to do in Pula, Croatia Travel Guide Video Transcript: (Pola)
Pula was our first introduction to Croatia and what a way to start! Located on the Istrian peninsula, this seaside town is home to Roman ruins, ancient temples, and some delicious pizza. The town won us over right from day one, so in this video, we’re going to take you on a tour of Pula and show you some of the highlights:
The amphitheatre was built during the reign of Emperor Vespasian, at the same time the Colosseum in Rome was going up. What’s even more shocking is how well preserved it is; this is the only remaining Roman amphitheatre with all four side towers and three stories still standing.
As a travel tip, if you visit during the summer months, you can catch numerous events at the amphitheatre, including concerts, movie screenings, and even reenactments of games from Ancient Rome.
When it comes to boat tours, the most popular destination is , a group of small islands that sit out on the Adriatic Sea.
The islands have a few archaeological and cultural sites but though admission to the park used to be free, these days you have to join one of the official excursions arranged by the park or local tourist agencies.
As for Pula Cathedral, it turns out it was closed when we tried to visit, so we can only show you the outside.
After all that wandering around town, it was finally time for lunch. We arrived at Jupiter Pizzeria just as they were opening and didn’t waste any time grabbing a seat on their outdoor terrace.
The fortress we spotted turned out to be Pula Castle, also known as Kaštel. Located atop a hill right in the centre of Pula, this fortress was built by the Venetians during the 17th century.
Admission was 20 kuna per person and there were two different museums exhibits to visit, however, we’d argue that the main draw are the views.
Over the course of the centuries, the Temple of Augustus has seen many uses from a Christian church to a grain storehouse, but at present, it houses a very small 1-room museum – and when we say small, we mean you can visit in 5 minutes!
The Roman Mosaic is just a short walk from the Forum, so it’s worth the little detour down back streets. This incredible well-preserved floor depicts the Punishment of Dirce, which is straight out of Greek mythology.

Kuntrada 38 Valbandon-Fazana Istria Croatia Hrvatska yep on this address I spent some time, and I like it. Simple little room with bath room use and kitchen ,200m from the shop and 1km from the beach was convenient enough. 15E per day was also very good among the apartments for 30-40E per day. A bicycle have a golden value here , cos the distances are not small unless you categorically enjoy walking for hours in any direction. I did not so much :) with a cycle I went even to Pula several times when the bus is 15 kuna -2 Euro aprox 1 direction or the taxi 40 kuna CAMMEO and 60-70 kuna the city taxi. THE BEST PRICE of TAxi usage is CAMMEO and you can look for this company in many citys in Croatia , its the best to try that on these numbers in Pula 060 700 700 or fix 052 885 885 . Good luck mate and enjoy the Adriatic see with the rest of the beauty :)

Hotel video review Park Plaza Histria, Pula, Croatia #videoreview #hotelreview
We stayed here 12 September 2019. The hotel is really nice and what you would expect of a Park Plaza. The location is beautifully idyllic but there's not a lot around you, there is a harbour over the road which we hoped would have a selection of restaurants but there wasn't really much there.
The hotel is huge and impressive, we didn't have the best check in experience and this put us off somewhat, my confirmation said there would be water on arrival but we had nothing in the room, when I rang down to reception the guy I spoke to told me that water on arrival didn't mean it would be in your room when you arrived ???? I questioned this saying that's exactly what it meant, he said someone would send some up, waited over 20 minutes and when I called down again I was told you can drink the tap water not really the best customer service!!!
The rooms are nice and the beds comfy with nice bedding, the only issue we had was that we had confirmation of a queen bed and had 2 beds together, again I called down to reception and spoke with the same guy who told me that's what were given and there weren't many double/queen beds and they were just pushed together. I said that my confirmation had queen bed but there was no budging with this and he wasn't particularly helpful or apologetic, in fact he seemed annoyed!!!
The outside area is nice, the pool was quite busy but there's plenty of sunbeds, we ended up taking the scenic view by the sea and enjoyed the loungers on the grassed area.
We were supposed to go to a local restaurant that night but it was fully booked so we ate at the hotel in the Yacht club restaurant which was nice, it doesn't look much as you walk through but the outside area was lovely, our waitress made up for the previous experience that we had! If you're happy eating at hotels this would suit but if you're a foodie like we are you're a little bit stuck as you'd need to get a taxi.
We enjoyed a cocktail in the bar area after dinner and watched a live band which were good.
Breakfast here is FANTASTIC I have to say I have never seen so much choice of food. There is EVERYTHING you can wish for, get there early to enjoy everything and relax eating it outside.
The hotel has free parking which was good.
On the whole the hotel is really nice, we were supposed to stay 2 nights but were so put off by the experience that we had at reception we cancelled our second nights stay - maybe that was just a one off experience and he was having a bad day?!

Join us for a ferry from Split to Hvar, Croatia in this travel vlog where we start off the day in Zadar taking a scenic bus ride to Split. With time to kill in Split we grab a Kebab and then wait at the ferry terminal taking advantage of the free wifi. I take a walk around Split filming a little bit while Audrey gets caught up on work. Finally it is time to board the ferry and travel from Split to Hvar Island. Witnessing a gorgeous sunset in Split it doesn't take long for it to get dark outside when we arrive in Hvar. After dropping of our bags at rental apartment we then go out for pizza. A long but satisfying travel day!

Ferry from Split to Hvar, Croatia travel vlog Video Transcript:
Well good morning good morning. Good morning guys. Today is a travel day and we're actually it sure is running a little bit late. So let's make this look down at my shoe at the moment. Like I am tying my shoes and we're running out the door. We really don't have a second to spare. Haha. Okay, so basically we're currently in Zadar. Today we're taking the bus to Split and then the ferry to Hvar. We've got a bit of a long connection so that will be great. Maybe we'll do some sightseeing, maybe we'll get some work done but now let's do a quick apartment tour and let's get out of here. Let's do it.
The update is we have arrived here in Split. Yes. And guess what? The bus terminal is right across from the ferry terminal. It couldn't have been any more conveniently located. Yeah. And we weren't sure which bus terminal we were going to get dropped off at because there are two and one of them would have involved a 20 minute walk. Yes. But we are right out on the water. Yep. It is just incredible. And that bus ride that was something spectacular. Like the scenery was just stunning the whole way. It almost felt like we were on a sightseeing trip as opposed to like a normal bus ride. I just couldn't put my camera down so. Yeah, you were filming the whole way.
We've found a little quiet corner here in the ferry terminal. And Sam is making me do math. Yes. So let's talk prices. Bus tickets, we booked them online with Get By Bus and it was 86 Kuna per person which was about 13 US dollars. Yeah, and that was coming from Zadar this morning. Yep. Yeah, Zadar to Split. And then the ferry also booked it online with Jadrolinija and it was 40 Kuna per person which we said was 6 dollars? A little over 6 dollars. Yeah, yeah. So that is pretty good. And something to keep in mind is the bus was what 3.5 hours?
I had my little jaunt around Split. It was wonderful. Like this city is awesome. And you're probably wondering like this is a pretty famous city in Croatia. Yeah, why are we skipping it right now Sam? Why are we skipping it?
The reason being is that we're going to come here next year with my parents. Yes. So in March. We're doing Split and Dubrovnik with them. Yeah, yeah. Exactly. So we're skipping it this time and going to Hvar instead. But uh it certainly looks beautiful and yeah I can't wait to actually properly explore here. Okay, and now time to go find our ferry.
We've arrived! Now it is time to go find our apartment and then go out for dinner to find some pizza and pasta.
Okay guys we picked up some groceries on the way back. Yeah. We are absolutely destroyed. Knackered. Knackered to the next level. So we're going to say goodbye to you from here and yeah thanks for following along on this journey and we can't wait to show you around Hvar. Bye.

CROATIA Road Trip from Split to Zadar - Pit stop: Krka National Park, Primosten beach & Trogir
CROATIA Road Trip from Split to Zadar CROATIA- Pit stop: Krka National Park, Primosten beach & Trogir
We decided to hire a car and take a road trip from Split to Zadar and check out the coast line of Croatia. Driving along the coast line was amazing and highly recommended. The back drop from Split to Zadar was absolutely gorgeous and driving through it was so beautiful! What made it even more breathtaking was the sun setting behind the mountains.
While driving to Zadar, we stopped by Trogir which was a little town recommended by our uber lady. She was quite surprised we never heard of it and really encouraged to go. SO glad we did because it was such a beautiful town surrounded by these gorgeous turquoise water.
After that,we went to Primosten beach we found as we wanted to stop along and have a swim. This was also another beautiful pit stop.
Our last pit stop was KRKA national park. One of the main reasons why we went to Zadar was to see this amazing water fall. We got there a bit after 4pm and we were able to swim at the base of the waterfall. I think this was a great time to go as the sun was still out but everyone was going home. We JUST made it onto the last bus at 8PM.
