This is the waterfalls park, one of the most magnificent parks in British Columbia and one of the best representations of a full mountain-top to valley-bottom slice of an ecosystem. David Shearing killed a family of six in August 1982 while they were camping in the Clearwater Valley near Wells Gray Provincial Park, about 120 kilometers north of Kamloops in British Columbia. The media coined the term Wells Gray Murders but the actual murder site was beside Fage Creek, 18 km (11.2 mi) north of Clearwater and 18 km (11.2 mi) south of the Wells Gray Park entrance on Clearwater Valley Road

What the world needs is hope and healing one step at a time.
Had a fabulous week long camping trip with a dear friend and her husband in the heart of British Columbia. She is very knowledgable about the wildflowers and loves nature as much as I do! The mystery bird is solved -- it was a Swainson's Thrush. We experienced epic waterfalls and woods. The trails at Wells Gray are excellent and so many options from alpine to deep woods. This was filmed in 4K.

Canada: the scenic highway from Jasper to Clearwater
leaving the Jasper national Park the highway approaches Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. There is a good view of the mountain from the road. Later the highway reach Valemount, with continual views of the peaks of the Premier Range. From Valemount on the highway follow the course of the Fraser river, with beautiful views of the valley and mountains. It is salmon country, with a national hatchery. At Clearwater is the Clearwater Lake, very popular in the summer.

Helmcken Falls is a 141 m (463 ft) waterfall within Wells Gray Provincial Park in British Columbia, Canada.
A short paved side road from the main Wells Gray Park road leads to Helmcken Falls. A viewing platform on the rim of the canyon provides a panorama of the falls and canyon.
