In Nov/Dec of 2012 I took a trip back from Gdansk, Poland to Toronto, Canada with the intention of not setting foot on a plane. This short clip captures the oceanic part of the voyage via a 14 day transatlantic repositioning cruise aboard the Celebrity Equinox, departing from Civitavecchia, Italy and arriving in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida with a number of stops along the way: Marseilles (France), Barcelona (Spain), Cartagena (Spain), Funchal (Madeira-Portugal). Also included is a short segment featuring the Amtrak and Via train travel portion through the eastern United States to Toronto, Canada.
Non-narrative / Cineconcert style short art film using the most basic setup: a camera, tripod and 2 lenses. I had no other equipment with me on the trip. Some minor shake is visible. Video is also compressed for Youtube, which has impacted quality.

This is what sea level rise will do to coastal cities
Sea level rise is already redrawing coastlines around the world. What happens when the coast retreats through a major city? We look at how the world map will change in the year 2100, and what coastal cities can do to defend themselves.
Correction: An early version of this video suggested that researchers expect to see four feet of sea level rise by the end of the century. While researchers do expect to see at least that level of sea level rise in the future, the exact timing is difficult to project. We regret the error.
