We got caught in middle of storm over night while sleeping
in tents on Lake Peipus shore, that was really fun experience.
While filming few shots under the waterfall, got myself all wet
but that's fine with me :D

Nowadays about 15 constant inhabitants live in Suminu. The first information about this village is from 1554. The village has a national museum of everyday articles. The lakes and forests are the things that draw the people to visit here

Lake Peipus, (Estonian: Peipsi-Pihkva järv; Russian: Псковско-Чудское озеро (Pskovsko-Chudskoe ozero), German: Peipussee) is the biggest transboundary lake in Europe on the border between Estonia (part of European Union) and Russia.
The lake is the fifth largest in Europe after Lake Ladoga and Lake Onega in Russia north of St. Petersburg, Lake Vänern in Sweden, and Lake Saimaa in Finland.
Lake Peipsi/Chudskoe (Estonian: Peipsi järv, Russian: Чудское озеро) is the northern part of the lake with the area of 2,611 km2
The Onion Route
This year (2012), the LINC study trip is combined with voluntary work, which means that we can all contribute to the development of various objects in South-Estonia through community work (Practical Workshop). We will visit the different landscapes and cultures of South-Estonia. It is possible to choose between four destinations -- Setomaa, the Onion Route, Valgamaa and Võrumaa.
The Onion Route (Sibulatee) is a network of tourism service providers which covers the shores of Lake Peipsi, snaking from the left banks of Emajõgi River all the way up to Kallaste. The fourth biggest lake in Europe has played a vital role in local life for centuries -- Lake Peipsi feeds and clothes the people, but sometimes also takes from them.

Sangaste castle (German: Schloss Sagnitz) traces its history to at least 1522, when it was part of the estates of the bishop of Tartu. The current building was built in 1879-1883 and designed by architect Otto Pius Hippius. It is built in a neo-Gothic style with influences from Tudor architecture, and considered one of the most impressive examples of Gothic Revival architecture in the Baltic States. Several original interior details have been preserved to this day. The manor house was unusually modern for its time, equipped with central heating, telephones in 1896, and electric light in 1907.
