Midale, Saskatchewan is located on Highway 39, midway between the cities of Weyburn and Estevan. The population of Midale is 562. It is 160 kilometres southeast of Regina, Saskatchewan. On July 5, 1937, during the great depression , Samuel Molberg recorded the highest temperature ever recorded in Canada at 45 °C . This temperature was also recorded that same day in Yellow Grass, Saskatchewan . Midale is a town in the rural municipality of Cymri No. 36, in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. Midale is home to country musician Brad Johner.

    Moose Mountain Provincial Park is a Provincial Park, located in southeastern Saskatchewan 24 km north of the town of Carlyle. It is one of Saskatchewan's few parks with towns on the inside of the park. The only town in Moose Mountain Park is Kenosee Lake. Kenosee Lake is the largest body of water in the park and serves as its central tourist attraction. Seasonal recreational activities in and around the lake include fishing, hunting, hiking, cycling, swimming, boating, water sports, cross country skiing, snowmobile riding, horseback riding, miniature golf, and 18-hole golf course.
