This is the Second video of Day-10 of my Russian trip in which you will see me exploring the Altai Mountains, the unexplored part of beautiful Russia. I managed to reach Onguday with the help of a lovely elderly couple. After that, I got a lift in another car from Onguday to Geyzernoye Ozero, a place near Aktach. I stayed with Dima and Tanya in a log hut in Geyzernoye Ozero. We all paid 500 Rubles each for a night. Interestingly that was the coldest night of my trip. The temperature dipped to almost -10-degree Celsius. More details -

Turkey-Georgia Aktaş border: Crossing on foot | HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

I crossed the Turkey-Georgia border from Aktas border gate. I tried to record most of the things on camera and have shared crucial information on topics like - Aktas border opening & closing time, Georgia immigration, How to get Georgia visa for Indians considering the high deportation rate of Indians, Georgian currency Lari exchange, etc. After travelling quite a few countries including the USA & Canada, till now this was the most difficult immigration process for me. Watch this video and do not repeat the mistakes I did while immigration and improve your chances of getting an entry in Georgia as a tourist.

Georgia: When Fire Fighters came to my rescue!

After entering Georgia, I had to wait for almost 6 hours to get the next ride in Kartsakhi village near Aktas border. This video is based on my experience of hitchhiking and staying at a Fire Station in Akhaltsikhe town. Next day I got a ride to Borjomi which in on the way to Tbilisi, the capital city of Georgia.

Episode Seven. Sibirsky Extreme Trail - 20,000km offroad from Europe to the Pacific - via helmet cam. The boys do their very best to drown their bikes in the rivers of the Ural Mountains of Bashkortostan in central Russia. All while appropriately rocking along to cowboy music.

SibExTrail 2012 - Episode 16 - Severobaikalsk

Episode 16. Sibirsky Extreme Trail - 20,000 km offroad from Europe to the Pacific. As Bas, Rod and Linda leave the ride, Geir, Erik and Steve join it. The new team pushes north from Irkutsk to Severobaikalsk (North Baikal City) before reaching the easy part of the BAM Road, and their first hazardous water crossing.

SibExTrail 2012 - Episode 12 - Polygon

Episode Twelve. Sibirsky Extreme Trail - 20,000km offroad from Europe to the Pacific - via helmet cam. The Sibirsky team heads into the original Soviet nuclear test site Experimental Field, better known as The Polygon, in north eastern Kazakhstan. Along the way they encounter wolves, cattle eaten by wolves and have a run in with several brutal bottles of Kazakh vodka.
