Arese is a comune in the Metropolitan City of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 12 kilometres northwest of Milan. Arese borders the following municipalities: Lainate, Garbagnate Milanese, Bollate, Rho, Milan. Arese received the honorary title of city with a presidential decree of October 25, 1985. For what concerns the hystorical center, of particular interest is the Church of St. Peter and Paul, located in the city center.

Lake Orta is a lake in northern Italy, west of Lake Maggiore. It has been so named since the 16th century, but was previously called the Lago di San Giulio, after Saint Julius , the patron saint of the region. Its southern end is about 35 kilometres by rail, to the northwest of Novara on the main Turin-Milan line, while its north end is about 6 kilometres by rail south of the Gravellona-Toce railway station, halfway between Ornavasso and Omegna. Its scenery is characteristically Italian, while the San Giulio island has some very picturesque buildings, and takes its name from the local saint, who lived in the 4th century. Looking for an incredible holiday in Italy? Lake Como is literally one of the most beautiful places to travel to, so take a look in my Lake Como video guide all about the lake and hiking in the surrounding mountain range.

This part of Italy is packed with alleyways and waterside towns to get lost in, ferry rides across the lake, eating incredible Italian food and of course, mountain hiking and trekking in the Swiss and Italian Alps (which is only an hour away). These for us were the best parts of Lake Como.

It's an insane place to explore for those who are looking to discover a truly native side of Italy with few tourists, epic scenery and beautiful towns and villages.

We stayed in a quiet village called Civenna, which is just a 10-minute drive from Bellagio and the ferry port we used to travel across the other side to head to the Alps.

I got some amazing drone footage as well of outstanding views, and photos for my blog.

We were there for 9 days before we headed back to Milan to get our flight back.

تمتاز بحيرة كومو، التي تعتبر ثالث أكبر بحيرة في إيطاليا، بطبيعة ساحرة حيث يحيط بها من الشمال العديد من القمم الجبلية المغطاة بالثلوج والتي يزيد ارتفاعها عن ألفي متر، بحيث يشعر السائح كأنه في منطقة جبلية شاهقة الارتفاع، ويتبدل المشهد في منتصف البحيرة، حيث تظهر المناظر البديعة للطبيعة المنبسطة عن مدينة بيلاجيو.
روائع فنية
وعلى ضفاف بحيرة كومو قام مجموعة من النبلاء والتجار الأثرياء عبر التاريخ ببناء فيلات فاخرة وسط حدائق زاخرة بمختلف أنواع نباتات البحر المتوسط. ولحسن الحظ كان هؤلاء النبلاء والأثرياء يتمتعون بحس وذوق فني راقٍ للغاية إلى جانب امتلاكهم للأموال الطائلة، لذلك ظهر على ضفاف بحيرة كومو العديد من روائع الفن وأيقونات الهندسة المعمارية.
وتعتبر القوارب هي أنسب وسيلة للاستمتاع بالمناظر الخلابة في هذه البحيرة ذات الطبيعة الهادئة. كما سينعم السياح الذين يجوبون بحيرة كومو انطلاقاً من مدينة بيلاجيو، والتي يُطلق عليها «لؤلؤة بحيرة كومو»، بإطلالة رائعة ومناظر طبيعية لا مثيل لها.
وفي ذروة الموسم السياحي تزدحم مدينة بيلاجيو بالزوار من جميع أنحاء العالم، حيث تقع هذه المدينة في أقصى طرف شبه الجزيرة، التي تفصل بحيرة كومو في نطاقها الجنوبي إلى جزئين، لذلك تظهر بحيرة كومو على شكل حرف “Y” مقلوب
‎تجذب مدينة كومو الكثير من السياح سنوياً سواء ممن يرغبون بقضاء أوقات رومنسيّة، أو الاستمتاع بما في هذه المدينة من مواقع أثريّة وسياحيّةٍ، كما أنها تعتبر ملاذاً للأغنياء وكبار الشخصيات الذين يحبون قضاء الوقت بعيداً عن الأضواء، وخاصةً بعد بناء الكثير من الفلل والقصور الفخمة. وتمتاز المدينة بالحدائق الغناء والأشجار العالية، وتكثر فيها الوديان التي تجذب محبي التسلق ويرى فيها السائح التنوع في البيئات البريّة، حيث يمكن استخدام القوارب والعبارات للتنقل فيها، وهناك أيضاً مصانع الحرير الراقي، والمطاعم ذات الذوق الرفيع والمشهورة على مستوى العالم بمذاقها الشهي التي توفر أشهى الأكلات للزوار.
