Ascochinga is a town in Colón Department, in Córdoba Province, Argentina. Situated in the Sierras Chicas, on the margin of the Ascochinga river, 6 km north of La Granja, 19 km from Jesús María, and 59 kilometers from the provincial capital. It is connected to the rest of the province by two paved roads, Provincial Route E53 and Provincial Route E66, plus a mountain unpaved road 38 km in length, through the hills called Camino del Pungo, reaching La Cumbre. The Jesuit Block and Estancias of Córdoba are a former Jesuit reduction built by missionaries in the province of Córdoba, Argentina, named a World Heritage Site in 2000.The Manzana Jesuítica contains the University of Córdoba, one of the oldest in South America, the Monserrat Secondary School, a church, and residence buildings. To maintain such a project, the Jesuits operated six Estancias around the province of Córdoba, named Caroya, Jesús María, Santa Catalina, Alta Gracia, Candelaria, and San Ignacio. The farm and the complex, started in 1615, had to be left by the Jesuits, following the 1767 decree by King Charles III of Spain that expelled them from the continent. Visitando Candonga en Córdoba, Argentina #TravelTips

A pocos kilómetros de la capital cordobesa encontramos una perla de las Sierras Chicas: Candonga; nombre que significa Vieja Mula que no sirve para tiro.
En este pequeño poblado serrano cordobés encontramos la pintoresca Capilla de Candonga, el Molino, la Estancia y el Campanario.
Lugar de visita turística para un fin de semana de relajación y conexión con la naturaleza.
En este espacio encontramos la posada con pileta, la huerta de la estancia, la capilla con el pequeño museo y campanario, y sobre todo mucha paz.

Recomendable para una visita a pasar el día si están en Córdoba, o escaparse un fin de semana si quieren desenchufarse de la rutina.
