Asfeld is a commune in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region of north-eastern France. The inhabitants of the commune are known as Asfeldois.The commune has been awarded one flower by the National Council of Towns and Villages in Bloom in the Competition of cities and villages in Bloom.

1. Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Laon Laon
Laon Cathedral is a Roman Catholic church located in Laon, Picardy, France. It is one of the most important examples of the Gothic architectural tradition of the 12th and 13th centuries. The cathedral predates those of Sens and Notre Dame of Paris, ranking with them in importance. It is the seat of the Bishop of Laon. The church has been listed among the Monuments Historiques since 1840.

All around Serre Chevalier and indeed France you see this dinky things where you have a good view point, they call them a 'Table d'Orientation'. Here's a quick translate of the French Wikipedia definition:

An orientation table is a small construction for tourism that allows users to identify the characteristic elements of the landscape that faces them. Usually built of stone and covered with a plate of enamel on which was painted the surrounding landscape, it is particularly common in the mountains.

The one in this video is on the Remparts just by the Collegial Church - I did it last May when I was taking my daughter for a walk and I just stumbled across the video.
