Nearby, Christina’s Father, Manthos, a unique Greek character, runs his renowned local Taverna, where a wide selection of traditional Greek food is served. Most of the other Bars and Restaurants of the resort are only a short walk away.

We visited the monastery of St. Stefan early in the morning to avoid the crowds. It is the most accessible monastery for the elderly or frail, because all the others require a courage, a fervor, to climb to the top.
