Bålsta is a locality and the seat of Håbo Municipality, Uppsala County, Sweden with 13 138 inhabitants in 2015.Although not in Stockholm County, it has the north-western terminus of the Stockholm suburban rail system. Kolmården Wildlife Park is a zoo that opened in 1965 overlooking Bråviken bay in Sweden. It is the largest zoo in Scandinavia, includes the first dolphinarium in Scandinavia, which opened in 1969 and has daily shows, and the worlds first cable car safari. The wildlife park also has a birds of prey display and a seal show. In the Marine World area is a roller coaster called The Dolphin Express. Another, larger, roller coaster in the park is Wildfire.

Gripsholm Castle is a castle in Mariefred, Södermanland, Sweden. It is located by lake Mälaren in south central Sweden, in the municipality of Strängnäs, about 60 km west of Stockholm. Since Gustav Vasa, Gripsholm has belonged to the Swedish Royal Family and was used as one of their residences until the 18th-century. It is now a museum, but it is still considered to be a palace at the disposal of the King and as such it is part of the Crown palaces in Sweden.

8. Furuviksparken Gavle
Furuvik Zoo is an amusement park and zoo in Furuvik, Sweden.Furuviksparken was founded in 1900 by Oscar Jakobsson and officially opened by count Olle Cronstedt. In 1938 the zoo was bought by Gösta Nygren, who managed the zoo for 45 years. Nygren established a youth circus, Furiksbarnen , which became the main attraction not only in the park but also on travelling tours. Nyhren also introduced live concerts with famous artists, like Louis Armstrong, Jussi Björling and Sammy Davis. Gävle Municipality took over the park 1983, again sold to Tom Widorson in 2004, and in 2010 sold to the present owner, Parks & Resorts Scandinavia.

2012-07-21 ÅKGSJ gör en blixtvisit i Söderhamn

Idag reste jag upp till Söderhamn för att möta nattåg 93 och sedan åka tillbaka till Stockholm.

Jag brukar ofta göra en sådan snabbvändning men då i Gävle men då nattåget var två timmar sent hann jag upp med snabbtåget till Söderhamn och dessutom få drygt en halvtimme över.

Jag hade egentligen tänkt sätta mig i solen och läsa morgontidningen men ändrade mig och passade på att spela in in liten film.

Nu är en halvtimme lite för kort tid för att spela in en resedokumentär men jag varför inte försöka och jag hade faktiskt riktigt roligt när jag lekte resereporter.

Och så hade jag tur med vädret.

Häng med mig till Söderhamn -- en stad med stationen lite utanför.
