Örbyhus is a locality situated in Tierp Municipality, Uppsala County, Sweden with 1,984 inhabitants in 2010.Örbyhus Castle, located a few kilometers from the village, is where king Eric XIV of Sweden was imprisoned until his death from arsenic poisoning on 26 February 1577.

Örbyhus Castle is a castle in Tierp Municipality, Sweden. It lies some 12 kilometres east of European route E4, approximately halfway between Uppsala and Gävle. Known since the 14th century, the estate was turned into a castle during the 15th century by Johan Kristensson Vasa, grandfather of Swedish king Gustav Vasa. The castle has been used as a prison, and its most well-known prisoner was king Eric XIV of Sweden, who died here in 1577.

Furuvik Zoo is an amusement park and zoo in Furuvik, Sweden.Furuviksparken was founded in 1900 by Oscar Jakobsson and officially opened by count Olle Cronstedt. In 1938 the zoo was bought by Gösta Nygren, who managed the zoo for 45 years. Nygren established a youth circus, Furiksbarnen , which became the main attraction not only in the park but also on travelling tours. Nyhren also introduced live concerts with famous artists, like Louis Armstrong, Jussi Björling and Sammy Davis. Gävle Municipality took over the park 1983, again sold to Tom Widorson in 2004, and in 2010 sold to the present owner, Parks & Resorts Scandinavia.

NOTTE NELLA FORESTA - Camminata nei boschi in Svezia Ep.1 (SUB ENG)

Primo episodio di questa avventura che mi porta a percorrere la Upplandsleden, un percorso immerso nella foresta svedese, tra laghi, alci, uccelli e rifugi in cui soggiornare la notte.
Il primo giorno, dopo aver fatto spesa per l'intero trekking nella cittadina di Örbyhus, 120 km nord da Stoccolma, lascio la strada per entrare a Florarna, una riserva naturale che alterna boschi fitti a zone paludose.

Vi consiglio di iscrivervi al canale di Jonna Jinton, una youtuber svedese che vive immersa nella foresta lappone e i suoi vlog rendono sempre di buon umore.
