Voyage Malaisie : l'île de Borneo, coup de coeur 100% nature [Conseils Voyages]

The Penan People of Sarawak 1
The Penan people live deep in the rainforests of Sarawak. Numbering about 10,000 people, the Penan are tribes of hunter-gatherers—they rely heavily on the forest they live in for their continued survival. Their livelihood, however, has been threatened by modern economic activity such as logging, dam building and forest clearance.
Penan people live simply in small villages far away from the hustle and bustle of modern civilisation. Some live near roads or paths, and have limited access to modern amenities such as television. Living close to nature, many Penan people use rainwater and firewood for their basic necessities. Some are even still nomadic and move around from time to time.
When a Penan settlement grows large enough, the Malaysian government may provide facilities such as clinic, schools, electricity and water supply.
Some Penan make intricate handicrafts from their harvest. A Penan family that kept a cat as a pet was sighted.
Sarawak State Museum - Tourist Attractions in Malaysia
The Sarawak State Museum is the oldest museum in Borneo. It was founded in 1888 and opened in 1891 in a purpose-built building in Kuching, Sarawak. Naturalist Alfred Russel Wallace encouraged Charles Brooke, the second White Rajah of Sarawak, to establish the museum.

Bukit Sium Ukap Exploration The Batang Ai National Park River 休谟无卡山探险记，巴当艾河国家公园
Bukit Sium is a strenuous hike all the way up to 710m above sea level. The trail consist of four undulating ridges through good forest, to hike up is no problem, the problem is our heavy backpack. Up until the summit point is the Bukit Sium Ukap. The Iban burial ground is on the summit, with four jars can be seen there, dated at 1947, 1950, and 1951 respectively. We camp a few meters down from the burial ground as advice of our guide where is a form of respect to the dead people there.
休谟山海拔高达710米是座艰苦跋涉的地方。共有四个起伏斜的山脊，走起来没问题，问题是背包太重了。山的峰顶有伊本族的墓地在，分别1947年，1950年和1951年间埋葬的，可以看到四个陶器而我觉得骨灰应该是放在那陶器里面吧。 我们当晚在那儿露营，不过没有靠近埋葬地点露营，我们的向导建议我们在别处露营，是对那里往生者的一种尊重。

Niah National Park Miri Malaysia | SUPER CREEPY!
This was by far the scariest day I have had traveling! These caves in Niah National Park outside of Miri Malaysia are amazing, but scary too! The thunderstorm and thousands of bats made it all the more creepy. As spooky as it was, I definitely would recommend going here if you are visiting Miri in Borneo. ^^
