A lot of the floors looked the same, nothing worth filming on it’s own so I just did a little run down once reaching the top.

Watford City (Hidatsa: abaʔaruʔush),[5] founded in 1914, is a city in and the county seat of McKenzie County, North Dakota, United States.[6] The population was 1,744 at the 2010 census.[7] and the Census Bureau gave the 2015 estimated population as 6,708, making Watford City the twelfth largest city in North Dakota. Because Watford City is part of the Bakken field, the North Dakota oil boom has significantly increased population and construction since the 2010 census.[8]

In this video we take a look at Grand Forks. One of the Northern most Cities in America. Also we ride the trails at Turtle River State Park. It cost just 5 dollars for a day pass. Shout out to my friends Shawn and Amber for joining me.

Minot, N.D. (AP) The violin is a special instrument to Shelby Huston. Playing violin has become so integral to her life that she’s come to consider the instrument an extension of her arm. Huston, a 16-year-old junior in a Minot ND high school is making a name for herself as a fiddle player, but whether performing a Bach concerto or fiddling bluegrass or Scandinivan she is doing what she loves.

At the Norsk Hostfest 2015 in Oct I recorded Shelby Huston playing some old time fiddle music from a generation of music that has since been forgotten. Even though the background noise was loud, the tunes she played where impressive. Shelby played hoedowns, breakdowns, jigs, polkas and most people's favorite - the waltz for the Scandinivan audience.

Shelby Huston started playing violin in the 4th grade at the age of 9 under the instruction of Ms. Kari Moen. In the 6th grade, Mr. Jim Tengesdal became her instructor and in 2011 started her with fiddle lessons.
Shelby Huston started competing at the International Peace Gardens in 2011 and won two years in a row in her age division. In 2013, she competed and placed in the Championship division after the first round and placed fourth over all.
2015 August 1st Shelby Huston won 1st place at the The 34th annual Minnesota State Old Time Fiddle Championships in Mt. Iron Minnesota. All contestants performed a waltz and a hoedown. The final round was made up of the top four scorers in all five age divisions from the preliminary round, with the top five scorers – regardless of age – making up the championship division. For the final round each contestant performed a waltz, a hoedown and a tune of their choice.
