Accordingly, Spain's foreign tourist industry has grown into the second-biggest in the world.
San Lorenzo de El Escorial, construction started in 1559 – located 45 km (28 mi) northwest of Madrid.
In 2016 Spain was the third most visited country in the world, recording 75.3 million tourists which marked the fourth consecutive year of record-beating numbers.
Spain ranks first among 136 countries in the biannual Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Index published by the World Economic Forum in 2017, matching the top position already achieved in 2015.
The World Tourism Organization has its headquarters in Madrid.
According to The Economist 2005 year list, Spain has the world's 10th highest quality of life.

Saint-Amand-de-Coly is a lovely traditional Dordogne village, with the houses being fine examples of the local Perigord architecture, with their tiled rooves and yellow stone walls. The village is dominated by its large church. The church was constructed in the 12th century on the site of an earlier abbey chapel. It has been largely renovated and reconstructed during the 19th-20th centuries, and is an unusual combination of gothic and roman style churches.

Fed by the River Ant, Barton Broad is the second largest of the broads, after Hickling Broad. It is said that Horatio Nelson used to sail on the broad.
It has been recently cleaned up to remove harmful algae and those fish which eat the good algae. It was formed by digging for peat in medieval times which was used for heating. Once dug, the holes became flooded. The fens around this broad is the largest fenland expanse in the UK and contains rare vegetation. It is home to species isuch as bittern, marsh harrier, otter, fen orchid and Desmoulin's whorl snail.

However the fact that there are so many travel related films here is not from holidays but from business trips attending trade fairs around the region. Every packaging trade fair is a new excuse to make another film!
