Bokaro Steel City is a city located in East India in the state of Jharkhand. It is the administrative headquarters of Bokaro district. It is one of the most populous cities in the state of Jharkhand. The city stands at an elevation of 210 metres (690 feet) above sea level and has an urban area of 183 square kilometres (71 square miles). Bounded on the east by Dhanbad and Purulia, on the west by Ramgarh and Hazaribagh, on the north by Giridih and on the south by Ranchi. It is accessible through National Highway NH 143 & NH-18.

Jamshedpur is a large city set between the Subarnarekha and Kharkai rivers in the east Indian state of Jharkhand. It’s known for huge, tree-lined Jubilee Park, where the Tata Steel Zoological Park has resident species including tigers and leopards. 1. Dalma Hills :
Dalma Hills is one of the beautiful tourist spots in Jamshedpur in Jharkhand state of India. Far from the maddening crowd and the hustle bustle of the city life, the calm and serene surrounding of Dalma Hillsrelieves the tourists from the stress and strains of daily mundane life.
2. Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary :
Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary is located 10 km from the city of Jamshedpur in the Indian state of Jharkhand. It was inaugurated by Sanjay Gandhi in 1975. It is notable wildlife sanctuary and contains significant population of Indian Elephants.
3. Jubilee Park :
Jubilee Park is a park located in the city of Jamshedpur in India. It is a popular destination for all those who wish to have an outdoor picnic, enjoy some outdoor activities and games or even just to have a relaxing day out with friends and family.
4. Jayanti Sarovar (Jubilee Lake) :
Jayanti Sarovar is situated in the town of Jamshedpur surrounding the Tata Zoological park and theJubilee Park. Its a large water body with a circular path running along the entire length of the lake. Thelake has boating facility which is open all day long at a nominal fee.
5. Tata Steel Zoological Park :
Tata Steel Zoological Park is situated in the corner most area of Jubilee Park. This zoo is known for its Safari Park, which enables tourists to drive through the wooden area, where animals roam freely. Tourists can also visit the Nature Education Centre in the zoo, which gives information about the zoo animals.
6. Russi Modi Centre of Excellence :
Located just outside of the Jubilee Park, the Russi Modi Centre for Excellence houses various professional organizations in Jamshedpur. The building was designed by Hafeez Contractor and is considered to be one of the most beautiful buildings in Jamshedpur. The building was formerly designed as the Jubilee Park. It houses archives of Tata Steel, a brilliant representation of its journey to being one of the biggest and most successful industries in the world.
7. Dimna Lake :
Dimna Lake is an artificial lake in Jamshedpur, which is situated at around 13 km from the city. This lake lies at the foot hills of Dalma Mountain ranges. The Dimna Lake is important for the city, as it serves like a water reservoir for the steel plant and the main drinking water source. This lake is half an hour drive away from the main city and can be visited by a cab or a bus. It is located in the Mirzadih Panchayat of Patamda Block and was constructed by the Tata Steel.
8. Sir Dorabji Tata Park :
Sir Dorabji Tata Park is named in the memory of the eldest son of JRD Tata.The Park has beautiful landscapes , well-kept lawns, exotic flowers and beautifully lit fountains. Every year in the December the park hosts a flower show.
9. Hudco Lake :
Hudco Lake was constructed artificially in the beautiful surroundings of the TELCO Colony. It is situated near a park which also houses an artificial waterfall that uses the water of the lake. The lake and park complex are located on a beautiful hillock and it provides a panoramic view of the entire city. This is an ideal spot for picnics and evening amusements.
10. Tribal Culture Center :
Established in 1990, Tribal Culture Centre aims to preserve and promote indigenous art and culture of Jharkhand. It is located at Jamshedpur, which is 140 km from Ranchi.

9.Saheb Bandh-
Saheb Bandh is a 50 acre lake in Purulia, that is known to have been constructed in the mid of 19th century. Now, Saheb Bandh is also considered as a home for migratory birds. During the migratory season, birds fly from Baluchistan, Siberia and several places in Europe, to this place. Thus, for local birdwatchers, Saheb Bandh is a popular retreat and tourist attraction in Purulia City with water sports fecility and shikara ride.
10.Charida Village-
Charida is the village of 300 skilled mask makers of the celebrated dance form of the region, Chau dance. This quaint village in the land of red soil is located at the scenic foothills of Ayodhya Hills, about 5 kms from Baghmundi.
