He pioneered the genre of street photography, and viewed photography as capturing a decisive moment. His work has influenced many photographers and he has been said to be the father of photojournalism as well as the founder of modern photography.

Lake Serre-Ponçon is a reservoir in the departments of Hautes-Alpes and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, in southeast France, one of the largest in Western Europe. The lake gathers the waters of the Durance and the Ubaye rivers, flowing down through the Hautes-Alpes and the Alpes du Sud to the Rhône River. The waters are dammed by the Barrage de Serre-Ponçon, a 123-metre high earth core dam. As well as water control, sixteen hydroelectric plants use the water , and the lake provides irrigation to 1,500 square kilometres of land.

One way to immerse yourself in Manila Philippines is to take a street Photography, or market district shopping tour. The Quiapo old market region is one of the best spots in the Metro to get a real feel of the city. Featuring the Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene known canonically as Parish of Saint John the Baptist, or simply the Quiapo Church. The basilica is famous as being the home for the Black Nazarene, a dark statue of Jesus Christ which is said to be miraculous, it sure is sporting a boss looking wig.
