Castelletto Cervo is a comune in the Province of Biella in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 60 kilometres northeast of Turin and about 20 kilometres southeast of Biella. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 862 and an area of 15.0 square kilometres .Castelletto Cervo borders the municipalities of Buronzo, Gifflenga, Lessona, Masserano, and Mottalciata.

Lake Orta is a lake in northern Italy, west of Lake Maggiore. It has been so named since the 16th century, but was previously called the Lago di San Giulio, after Saint Julius , the patron saint of the region. Its southern end is about 35 kilometres by rail, to the northwest of Novara on the main Turin-Milan line, while its north end is about 6 kilometres by rail south of the Gravellona-Toce railway station, halfway between Ornavasso and Omegna. Its scenery is characteristically Italian, while the San Giulio island has some very picturesque buildings, and takes its name from the local saint, who lived in the 4th century. A settembre inoltrato l’estate non si decideva a finire e noi avevamo tanta voglia di un ultimo week-end al mare, ma i soldi erano pochi. Siamo partiti comunque: il cibo lo si poteva portare da casa e l’automobile non era poi così scomoda per dormirci una notte. Le vicine località della Liguria sono sempre state meta delle nostre fughe al mare in giornata, così ne abbiamo scelte alcune tra le nostre preferite e aggiunte altre ancora da scoprire.
