Castlederg is a village in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It lies on the River Derg and is near the border with County Donegal. It stands in the townlands of Castlesessagh and Churchtown, in the historic barony of Omagh West and the civil parish of Urney. The village has a ruined castle and two ancient tombs known as the Druid's Altar and Todd's Den. It had an estimated population of 2,935 people in 2008. The village hosts some of the district's key events each year, including the Derg Vintage Rally, Dergfest musical festival, Derg Soapbox Derby and the traditional Apple Fair which sees the apple growers of County Armagh visit to sell their wares. 1. Marble Arch Caves Global Geopark Florencecourt
The Marble Arch Caves are a series of natural limestone caves located near the village of Florencecourt in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. The caves are named after the nearby Marble Arch, a natural limestone arch at the upstream end of Cladagh Glen under which the Cladagh River flows. The caves are formed from three rivers draining off the northern slopes of Cuilcagh mountain, which combine underground to form the Cladagh. On the surface, the river emerges from the largest karst resurgence in Ireland, and one of the largest in the United Kingdom. At 11.5 kilometres the Marble Arch Caves form the longest known cave system in Northern Ireland, and the karst is considered to be among the finest in the British Isles.

Antrim Castle also known as Massereene Castle was a castle in Antrim, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, on the banks of the Sixmilewater River. It was erected in stages between 1613 and 1662. It was destroyed by fire in 1922 and finally demolished in the 1970s. All that remain are a slightly raised grassed platform as well as a freestanding Italian stair tower which was built in 1887 and a gatehouse, which was built around 1818 with twin neo-Tudor towers, with older connecting walls. The gardens are a popular tourist attraction on the Randalstown Road, Antrim.

Solo Trip to Northern Ireland & Ireland!

Took a solo trip for the first time to the north of Ireland and Ireland itself on 15th Dec 2018 to 20th Dec 2018. Sorry for the poor video quality... I TRIED. 60% of the time i am battling with the wind so the video is kinda shaky and 40% of the time my video shooting speed is too fast. But yah you can blame 100% on my videography skill.

View from A Dash Cam - Crossing The Irish Border from Co. Donegal to Co. Tyrone on Thursday, 5/1/17

This recording was made on the Castlefin (Co. Donegal) to Castlederg (Co. Tyrone) Road. In this part of the world, the border is configured in such an Irish way: You go south to head into The North and vice-versa.

The border is crossed after about 13 seconds. There was an absence of road markings on the Co. Tyrone soide.
