LA GRAND PLACE
La Grand-Place est la place centrale de la ville belge de Bruxelles. Mondialement renommée pour sa richesse ornementale, elle est bordée par les maisons des corporations, l'hôtel de Ville et la Maison du Roi. Elle est généralement considérée comme l'une des plus belles places du monde
Sur la Grand Place, cette statue représente d'Evrard T'serclaes un héros bruxellois qui joua un grand rôle dans la libération de la ville en 1356. L'oeuvre est de Dillens un sculpteur de talent, mais l'original a dû être enlevé, les milliers de passants la caressant pour obtenir du bonheur ou autre chose aurait fini par l'user complètement. C'est la réplique exacte de l'original réalisé à partir du moule de Dillens.
MANNEKEN PIS
C'est une fontaine de bronze mesurant 50 centimètres située dans le quartier de la Grand Place à Bruxelles. La fontaine représente un garçon qui urine. Elle est un des nombreux symboles de la Belgique. Manneken-Pis vient du néerlandais Manneke Pis qui signifie l'enfant qui pisse.
On ne sait pas exactement pourquoi cette statue a été commandée, mais de nombreuses histoires circulent. Une de celles-ci raconte que, lors de l'invasion de la Belgique par l'Espagne, un petit garçon vit une bombe, mais ne parvenait pas à l'éteindre. Alors, puisqu'il fut pris une forte envie, il urina sur la mèche. Une autre raconte qu'un petit garçon s'était perdu et son père l'avait trouvé dans sa position actuelle

LES GALERIES ROYALES SAINT-HUBERT
Les Galeries royales Saint-Hubert de Bruxelles (en néerlandais: Koninklijke Sint-Hubertusgalerijen) forment un complexe de trois passages commerciaux couverts sur toute leur longueur par un vitrage en arcades. Elles se composent de :
• la Galerie de la Reine (de la rue du Marché aux Herbes à la rue des Bouchers)
• la Galerie du Roi (de la rue des Bouchers à la rue d'Arenberg)
• la Galerie des Princes (de la Galerie du Roi à la rue des Dominicains)

5 FOODS TO TRY IN CANADA + CANADIANS SAYING SORRY | Eileen Aldis
While we're home in the land of the true north strong and free, Marc and I really wanted to fill up on all the delicious Canadian foods you can find here. We were at home one morning trying to decide what to have when I realized we didn't have to decide...we could eat them ALL! We wanted to make a video about it to introduce you to five foods to try in Canada. The first food we went for is poutine. This was created in rural Quebec in the 1950s and has spread far and wide because it's simply delicious. There are many variations now, but the authentic original is French fries loaded with gravy and cheese curds. Not just any cheese, cheese CURDS. We went to a Canadian chain called Smoke's Poutinerie and the guy who served us was super awesome. He even gave us a free t-shirt - so nice! After that we indulged our sweet tooth with Nanaimo bars - a childhood favourite of mine. Hailing from - you guessed it - Nanaimo, British Columbia on the west coast of Canada, these bars are made with three layers: coconut and chocolate, custard, and chocolate. We found a spot to eat them surrounded by enthusiastic Canada Geese, which seemed very appropriate. Next on our Canada hit list was butter tarts. These originated in the prairies during pioneer times. They're individually-sized desserts: a flaky pastry and sweet filling. Sometimes you'll find raisins or nuts in there as well. Needing a break from all the sweets, Marc and I grabbed two bags of our favourite Canadian chips: ketchup for me and dill pickle for him. The story goes that ketchup chips were invented by Hostess Potato chips in the 1970s but marketed exclusively in Canada. They were a huge hit and have been on shelves here ever since. Dill pickle is uniquely Canadian. When we lived in Australia and I went home to visit Canada, they were the one thing Marc asked me to bring him back. To end off a day of debauchery, we had Tiger Tail ice cream at a local spot in my hometown of London, Ontario. This is really popular amongst Canadian kids (and big kids like us). It's orange ice cream with black liquorice swirls. There are lots more Canadian foods we love so maybe we'll do another video like this on another trip home to Canada. Beautiful castles in Belgium! (Lumix G85 - 4K)
We went on a small road trip to the Ardennes in the South of Belgium. The Ardennes are known for the beautiful nature, castles and other heritage. We stayed in a cosy cabin in Pont de Berguème. All footage was shot with a Panasonic Lumix G85 (1080p) and the road footage with a GoPro hero 5 (2.7K) upscaled to 4K.
