Centerport is a hamlet and census-designated place in Suffolk County, New York, United States, on the notably affluent North Shore of Long Island. Formerly known as Little Cow Harbor in about 1700, as Centreport in 1836, and as Centerport after 1895, the name refers to its geographic position midway between the east and west boundaries of the town of Huntington.As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP population was 5,508. It is located in the town of Huntington. The Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Site preserves the Springwood estate in Hyde Park, New York. Springwood was the birthplace, lifelong home, and burial place of the 32nd President of the United States, Franklin Delano Roosevelt. The National Historic Site was established in 1945.

2. Vanderbilt Mansion National Historic Site Hyde Park
The Vanderbilt Lane Historic District is a small area along the street of the same name, just east of US 9 in Hyde Park, New York, United States. It was used for the farm functions of the nearby estate of Walter Langdon and, later, Frederick Vanderbilt. Most of its buildings date to the turn of the 20th century, with one remaining from the 1830s. Many of its buildings and infrastructure remain intact. It is one of only two estate farm complexes on the east side of the Hudson that has not been razed and redeveloped. In 1993 it was recognized as a historic district and added to the National Register of Historic Places.

Hotel Review - Howard Johnson Virginia Beach

Where do I even start? Well, I had a reunion with friends to attend out in Norfolk back in February, and there wasn't room for me in the apartment. I had a few low-value Welcome Rewards nights (free nights form the Hotels.com loyalty program), so I used them on this place. I went in knowing that it wouldn't be great. After all, my personal rule for budget hotels is that they meet just 2 simple criteria: Safety and cleanliness. Unfortunately, this hotel failed at both. This meant that I had to change rooms TWICE, a new personal record for me. I took the whole thing with a sense of humor (in all honesty, I love making videos that document these sorts of issues). I've even added a runny tally of all the major issues with the hotel that appears on the left side of the screen. Hope you enjoy the video!
