1. Pilanesberg National ParkSun City The Pilanesberg Game Reserve is located north of Rustenburg in North West Province in South Africa. The park borders with the entertainment complex Sun City. The park is currently administered by the North West Parks and Tourism Board. The area is fringed by three concentric ridges or rings of hills, of which the formation rises from the surrounding plains. Pilanesberg is named after a Tswana chief, Pilane, the 'Pilanesberg Alkaline Ring Complex' is the park's primary geological feature. This vast circular geological feature is ancient even by geological standards as it is the crater of a long extinct volcano and the result of eruptions some 1,200 million years ago. This is our second Northwest Province pre-election roadshow broadcast and today were here wanting to find out what makes The City of Matlosana tick. We are joined by the mayor of the City of Matlosana, Councillor Michael Kagiso Khauoe.

The Klerksdorp Transport Museum, AKA Matlosana Museum of Transport or North-West Transport Museum.
I took my DJI Spark out to this now defunct museum to practice some indoor flying with my Spark in ATTI Mode. What initially started as an indoor flight practice session became a short exploration video.

4 arrested in Shiva Uranium mine protest
Four people have been arrested following violent protests at the Gupta-owned Shiva Uranium mine in Tigane township in the North West. Local schools and shops were shut down, and roads barricaded, as residents of the mining area embarked on a protest over the loss of over 200 jobs. This after the mine terminated its contract with their labour broker, Quatrotec. The community says the mine has done little to uplift the community, and has instead sought to exploit local labour
