1. Vredefort DomeParys The Vredefort crater is the largest verified impact crater on Earth, more than 300 kilometres across when it was formed. What remains of it is located in the present-day Free State province of South Africa and named after the town of Vredefort, which is situated near its centre. Although the crater itself has long since eroded away, the remaining geological structures at its centre are known as the Vredefort Dome or Vredefort impact structure. The crater is estimated to be 2.023 billion years old , with impact being in the Paleoproterozoic Era. It is the second-oldest-known crater on Earth. This is our second Northwest Province pre-election roadshow broadcast and today were here wanting to find out what makes The City of Matlosana tick. The Klerksdorp Transport Museum, AKA Matlosana Museum of Transport or North-West Transport Museum.
I took my DJI Spark out to this now defunct museum to practice some indoor flying with my Spark in ATTI Mode. What initially started as an indoor flight practice session became a short exploration video.

4 arrested in Shiva Uranium mine protest
Four people have been arrested following violent protests at the Gupta-owned Shiva Uranium mine in Tigane township in the North West. Local schools and shops were shut down, and roads barricaded, as residents of the mining area embarked on a protest over the loss of over 200 jobs. This after the mine terminated its contract with their labour broker, Quatrotec. The community says the mine has done little to uplift the community, and has instead sought to exploit local labour
