CONSTÂNCIA, é uma bonita vila, situada no Centro do País, e entre os rios Tejo e Zêzere, muitas vezes apelidada de Vila Poema por ter sido local de residência do grande poeta Português, Luís de Camões, que nela se terá inspirado para algumas das suas obras. Constância ergue-se pela encosta acima, nas suas estreitas ruas de branco caiadas respira-se história, alegradas por flores, cores e paz de espírito. O seu rico património apresenta monumentos como a Igreja de Nossa Senhora dos Mártires, com o tecto pintado por José Malhôa, e outros como a Igreja da Misericórdia do século XVII, as Igrejas de Santo António e de São Julião, a Casa Memória de Camões. CONSTÂNCIA, is a beautiful town situated in the center of the Portugal, and between Tejo and Zêzere rivers, often called Poem Village because of the great Portuguese poet Luis de Camoes, who lived there, and has inspired some of his works. Constância has very old narrow and white streets with many flowers, colors and it's a very peaceful place. It has a very rich heritage, with monuments such as Nossa Senhora dos Mártires church, with a painted ceiling by a well known portugues painter, José Malhôa; Misericórdia Church from the seventeenth century; Santo António and São Julião churches; and the Museum House of Luis de Camões. Situada junto à confluência do rio Zêzere com o rio Tejo, Constância é uma vila e sede de concelho do Distrito de Santarém.
Os municípios de Abrantes, Vila Nova da Barquinha e Chamusca, são o limite geográfico do Município de Constância.
D. Maria II em 1836 alterou o nome desta localidade, que anteriormente se designava de Punhete, para o actual nome de Constância.
Durante o desterro no Ribatejo, foi neste local a residência do poeta Luís de Camões, que aqui escreveu alguns dos seus poemas líricos.

MONCHIQUE, situada na Serra de Monchique, que separa o Algarve da região fronteiriça do Alentejo, entre os picos de Fóia e Picota, é uma encantadora vila de ruas íngremes e calcetadas com casas caiadas, sendo o ponto de partida ideal para visitar as nascentes e descobrir as montanhas. É de salientar a arquitectura religiosa em Monchique onde podemos visitar a Igreja Matriz de Monchique construída entre os séculos XV--XVI que possui uma porta manuelina, a Igreja de São Sebastião construída em finais do século XVI e o Convento de Nossa Senhora do Desterro. Este belo convento franciscano foi construído no século XVII, o qual Ficou gravemente danificado durante o sismo de 1755 e após a abolição das ordens religiosas em 1834, os seus altares e estátuas foram levadas para outras igrejas de Monchique e Aljezur. MAI 2012 - simplicité en noir et blanc,pour ce petit village dont l'intérêt ,est d'exister.
pas grand chose a voir ou a espérer. 4 personnes dans la rue,une cloche qui sonne tous les quinze minutes.village semi-en ruine,je vous rassure,quelques belles maisons au bas du village.
le temps s'est arrête .reste des personnes âgées,.contentes de vous faire la causette.
ah oui ,l'espoir,une petite école,avec 6 élèves...enfin un peu de bruit en cette chaude après-midi.allez je vous quitte ,c'est l'heure de la sieste...
Un paseo por Marvão (Portugal)
Dentro de la ruta senderista que realizamos el pasado domingo de Ramos, entre las localidades portuguesas de Marvão y Castelo Vide, tuvimos la suerte de poder visitar antes de empezar la ruta, la villa de Marvão, con su castillo fortaleza, murallas baluartadas, matacanessus calles estrechas, retuertas, empedradas, con arcos, y con casas blancas con ventanas y balcones con rejas de hierro forjado que en ocasiones tienen motivos manuelinos como la esfera armilar, y unas espléndidas vistas desde allá arriba, desde el nido de las águilas que es os como la han bautizado al estar asentada sobre la Sierra de São Mamede, a 800 m. de altura.
