Située sur la rive nord du lac Léman, au pied des Préalpes, je vous propose, aujourd'hui, une charmante promenade-découverte à Vevey, une des perles de la Riviera Suisse, dotée d'un univers naturel d'une beauté sans pareille.
Vous pourrez découvrir ses quais fleuris qui s'étendent sur une longueur de 3 km, du débarcadère de Vevey-Plan au Château de La Tour-de-Peilz, derrière lequel se cache le ravissant port que l'on atteint en contournant le château, ses promenades romantiques en bateau à vapeur, la Statue de Charlie Chaplin sur les quais de Vevey, qui rappelle que l'artiste a vécu 25 ans au manoir de Ban à Corsier sur Vevey, et une magnifique croisière effectuée sur un bateau à vapeur de Vevey à Montreux, de Villeneuve à Saint Gingolph, un parcours de rêve.... où vous découvrirez des paysages tout à fait exceptionnels, en n'oubliant pas le Château de Chillon, joyau architectural serré dans le plus bel écrin qui se puisse imaginer - le lac Léman et les montagnes.

You will be able to discover its flowery quays which extend on a length of 3 km, from the landing stage of Vevey-Plan to the Castle of La Tour-de-Peilz, behind which hides the delightful port which one reaches by skirting the castle, his romantic steamboat rides, Charlie Chaplin's Statue on Vevey's Embankment, reminding us that the artist lived 25 years at the Ban mansion in Corsier sur Vevey, and a magnificent cruise on a Vevey steamboat in Montreux, from Villeneuve to Saint Gingolph, a dream tour .... where you will discover exceptional landscapes, not forgetting the Château de Chillon, architectural gem tight in the most beautiful setting that can be imagined - Lake Geneva and the mountains.

Third day. After a rest at my uncle’s in Le Posses sur Bex, I left at 4 a.m. in the middle of the night. Cycling along the lakefront of the Lèman Lake, passing through Montreux, the city of the most worlwide famous Jazz Festival and Vevey, the town where Charlie Chaplin (London, 16th April 1889 – Corsier-sur-Vevey, 25th Dicember 1977) spent the last period of his life. A trip to the Charlie Chaplins house. I grew up watching tom and jerry and Charlie Chaplin series. So while in Montrex had to visit the house and see what he was made of. A great house he had and lived a good life.
