Dolní Kounice is a small town in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has around 2,400 inhabitants. The ancient town of Dolní Kounice is situated about 25 km south from Brno in the valley of the Jihlava river.     Bouzov Castle is an early 14th-century fortress first mentioned in 1317. It was built on a hill between the village of Hvozdek and the town of Bouzov, 21 kilometres west of Litovel and 28 kilometres northwest of Olomouc, in Moravia, Czech Republic.
