Dosrius is a municipality in the comarca of Maresme in Catalonia, Spain, located in the interior of the comarca on the border with the Eastern Valleys, and is at the head of the Argentona Riera. The original name, first recorded in 963, is Duos Rios. This literally means Two Rivers and refers to the 2 rivers that join to form the Argentona Riera, and is reflected in the coat of arms. These rivers are rarely flowing, though quickly fill during wet weather causing disruption in the village owing to the narrow streets being one way. La Fosca is a beach in the Mediterranean Costa Brava, located in the comarca of Baix Empordà, in the province of Girona, Catalonia, Spain. La Fosca is between Palamós and Cala S'Alguer. Throughout most of the year very few people live there, but in summer the population of La Fosca grows quickly. La Fosca is located at the northern end of a large bay, which is popular for swimming, sailing and windsurfing. The town is by-passed by the C31 which connects the coastal towns of the central Costa Brava with Girona. Palafrugell lies 8.5 km to the north and Castell-Platja d'Aro 7 km to the south. La Fosca beach is known for the enormous rock in the middle of it, which separate the beach in two beaches: La fosca beach and patja del carrer. 3. San Pol Beach S Agaro
Sant Feliu de Guíxols is a municipality in the comarca of the Baix Empordà in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the Costa Brava and is an important port and tourist centre. The district abuts to the north, the upmarket s'Agaró resort built round the Sant Pol Beach. In addition to tourism and the port the cork industry is a traditionally local industry. The town contains a large monastery which now houses the town museum and is a protected historico-artistic monument. The C-253 road runs north along the coast to Platja d'Aro and Palamós, while the C-65 road runs inland from the town. The GI-682 provides a dramatic cliff top drive to Tossa de Mar to the south.
