Dunseith is a city in Rolette County, North Dakota, United States. The population was 773 at the 2010 census. Dunseith is best known for its proximity to the International Peace Garden. The port of entry at the Peace Garden is one of three 24-hour ports in North Dakota . Dunseith is also the home of the world's largest turtle sculpture, the Wee'l Turtle, made of more than 2,000 wheels painted green.

1. Prairie Village Museum Rugby North Dakota
Portage la Prairie is a small city in the Central Plains Region of Manitoba, Canada. As of 2016, the population was 13,304 and the land area of the city was 24.68 square kilometres . Portage la Prairie is approximately 75 kilometres west of Winnipeg, along the Trans-Canada Highway , and sits on the Assiniboine River, which flooded the town persistently until a diversion channel north to Lake Manitoba was built to divert the flood waters. The city is surrounded by the Rural Municipality of Portage la Prairie. According to Environment Canada, Portage la Prairie has the most sunny days during the warm months in Canada.It is the administrative headquarters of the Dakota Tipi First Nations reserve.

International Peace Garden of North Dakota/Manitoba

Along the border between North Dakota and Manitoba, groups will find the International Peace Garden, an oasis of beauty nestled in the Turtle Mountains, as much a celebration of peace as natural beauty.

The 2,339-acre site spans the border between Dunseith, N.D., and Boissevian, Manitoba. It was built in 1932 as a symbol of freedom and has expanded in the ensuing decades. The most recent additions include an interpretive center, 9/11 Memorial Garden and a $2 million updating of the landscaping.

Got Stopped at the Border | Road Trip to the International Peace Garden - ND

Hey Welcome Back!

About 2 weeks ago I took a road trip to North Dakota to visit my grandma and while I was up there we took a drive to the International Peace Garden. The International Peace Garden is located on the border of Dunseith, North Dakota, USA and Boissevian, Manitoba, Canada. Spread across 2,339 acres of land in the Turtle Mountains you will find a beautiful garden of flowers, fountains and statues. A few of the attractions you will see in this video include the 9/11 Memorial, Peace Chapel, the Conservatory, and the Game Warden Museum. To access the peace gardens we had to exit the US, which means on the way back in to the US you had to go through the border cross for inspection. P.S. - The cactus are huge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Abandoned San Haven Sanatorium

It was pretty damn dark on each floor & I forgot to bring a flashlight. xD
A lot of the floors looked the same, nothing worth filming on it’s own so I just did a little run down once reaching the top.
