Eidskog is a municipality in Hedmark county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Glåmdal. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Skotterud. Eidskog was separated from the municipality of Vinger in 1864. The municipality is located at the southern end of Hedmark county. It is bordered to the north by the municipality of Kongsvinger and in the west by Aurskog-Høland, Nes and Sør-Odal. Eidskog borders on Sweden, both to the east and south.

Magnor Glassworks is a glass company located in Eidskog, in Hedmark county, Norway.Eda glasbruk glassworks factory was first founded in 1830 by Carl Christopher Lampa and Lars Wilhelm Ahlbom in Eda kommun in Värmland County, Sweden. In 1842, new owners took over the glass factory and in 1862 moved a site in Surte, in Västra Götaland County, Sweden. A branch location, first known as Geijer Fors Glass Works, was started in 1896 at Magnor, a village in the municipality of Eidskog, in Hedmark, Norway.Magnor Glassworks was established in a forested area near the border between Norway and Sweden. The large forests supplied fuel for the melting furnaces. 2. Ronning Treski Skotterud
Rønning Treski is the only remaining producer of wood skis in Norway. The production takes place in the small town of Skotterud, located in the municipally of Eidskog. Wood skis have been produced for over 100 years at the location. In 1936, Paul Rønning bought the company, rebranded it, and decided to focus on producing skis. The company is still a family owned company, currently run by third generation Rønning. Rønning Treski has been the only producer of wood skis in Norway since 1992. Rønning Treski produces several types of skies; Telemark, Downhill, Cross country, Hunting, Children, etc. Not only is the whole production process hand made in Norway, the wood materials are also 100% Norwegian.
