5. Parc national des Calanques
It is a national park, established in 2012. It includes parts of the Massif des Calanques stretching between Marseille and Cassis.
It extends over 520 km2 (201 sq mi), of which 85 km2 (33 sq mi) is land, while the remaining is marine area.
4. Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilisations
It is a national museum, devoted to European and Mediterranean civilisations
It was designed by the architect Rudy Ricciotti in collaboration with the architect Roland Carta.
3. Fort Saint-Jean
Fort Saint-Jean is a fortification in Marseille, built in 1660 by Louis XIV at the entrance to the Old Port.
Since 2013 it is linked by two thin bridges to the historical district Le Panier, and to the MuCEM.
2. Vallon des Auffes
The Vallon des Auffes is a little traditional fishing haven in Marseille.
It is situated 2.5 km south-west of the Vieux-Port over the corniche Kennedy, between the Catalans beach and Malmousque bay.
1. Chateau d'If
It is a fortress (later a prison) located on the island of If, the smallest island in the Frioul archipelago.
It is famous for being one of the settings of Alexandre Dumas' adventure novel The Count of Monte Cristo.

Tips for Visiting the Louvre in Paris

Heading to the Louvre Museum in Paris, France can be an incredible experience. In order for that to happen make sure you follow a few easy tips to have an awesome artistic time.
1. Order your tickets online to skip the lines
2. Pick up a map to make it easier to find what you are looking for
3. Make a plan so you know what you want to see (and yes you should see more than just the Mona Lisa, Winged Victory and Venus di Milo, there is much more.
4. Wear comfortable shoes, the Louvre is huge.
5. Set up a meeting point in case you get separated from your group
6. Have a snack for nibbling while you search the collection
7. Don't get in trouble with the security guards, so don't use flash photography and do not touch the works of art.
