Glencullen is a village and townland in the county of Dún Laoghaire in south County Dublin, Ireland. It is also the name of the valley above one end of which the village sits, and from which it takes its name, and is on the R116 road, on the slopes of Two Rock Mountain. The highest point of the area is at a height of about 300 metres , making Glencullen one of the highest villages in Ireland. Glencullen is in the civil parish of Kilternan and the barony and Poor Law Union of Rathdown.

1. Wicklow Mountains National Park Glendalough Village
The Wicklow Mountains form the largest continuous upland area in Ireland. They occupy the whole centre of County Wicklow and stretch outside its borders into Counties Dublin, Wexford and Carlow. Where the mountains extend into County Dublin, they are known locally as the Dublin Mountains . The highest peak is Lugnaquilla at 925 metres . The mountains are primarily composed of granite surrounded by an envelope of mica-schist and much older rocks such as quartzite. They were pushed up during the Caledonian orogeny at the start of the Devonian period and form part of the Leinster Chain, the largest continuous area of granite in Ireland and Britain. Important: This is not super adventure or high quality travel video with incredible footage or some action scenes. This is real story, real trip. The idea behind is to see how one motorcycle trip is going and to show you some interesting places around the world. I also shared some of my thoughts and advice with the idea to help others to make their trips more easier than me.

The trip was 15 days and visited the territories of Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Ireland, Scotland, England and came back to Germany. I spent a little above 7,000km and except one small accident the trip went trouble free. I saw so many amazing places and met so many great and friendly people. It was one super nice trip and I will do it again with pleasure.
