The Battle of Guillemont was an attack by the Fourth Army on the village of Guillemont. The village is on the D 20 running east to Combles and the D 64 south-west to Montauban. Longueval and Delville Wood lie to the north-west and Ginchy to the north-east. The village was on the right flank of the British sector, near the boundary with the French Sixth Army. Cap Gris-Nez is a cape on the Côte d'Opale in the Pas-de-Calais département in northern France. It is between Wissant and Audresselles, in the commune of Audinghen. The cliffs of the cape are the closest point of France to England – 34 km from their English counterparts at Dover. Soldier Monuments in Albert France

Whilst on a visit to the Somme battlefields I stopped off in the town of Albert. As a monument to the soldiers who fought in the battles in the areas during the First World War there are a number of statues have been erected throughout the town. These include a French soldier (in from of the train station), a Scottish piper, an Australian and a British 'tommy' (around the Place d'Armes) and a German soldier (in the Jardin Public Arboretum).

The backing track was created using Garageband with the musical loops Courier Strings, Longing Strings 02 and Skyline Piano.
