Long Walk In Jinja, Uganda (Source of the Nile)

Jinja is a town in Uganda, about 80km from Kampala. Population of around 75,000. It is situation on Lake Victoria...and is famously know as the source of the Nile.

I stayed at the City Hotel in downtown Jinja. Cost around $21 per night. It is situated in the mall shown at the start of the video.

Uganda Part 11: Jinja, Bujagali Falls

5.8.2011 day 14 of our itinerary: Today we will visit the Bujagali Falls (actually its not realy a waterfall - it's a series of cataracts). Very good for rafting. I am not sure, if this natur-wonder can be seen right now when I am typing this sentence due to the new hydropower station, which will flood everything here. Realy sorry - but Uganda needs the energy as we all needs energy.
